Food was great, the selection is awesome too… atmosphere is fun, bright and modern. Service, however, is abysmal… our waiter spilled my drink and took forever to clean it; I did before he did. We were checked on maybe once outside of the actual ordering and bringing of food/drinks. Didn’t receive an item we ordered either until probably 20+ mins later (a grilled cheese, which you think would be simple…). And the restaurant was about 1/4 full at this time. Very disappointed in the service – well, lack thereof. I would love to give Hummingbird another shot, sadly we are actually moving out of town, but maybe it’ll have tweaked itself by our next visit back.

The husband brought me here for a nice quiet evening out, and we had a lovely time! It's a cute little place right off North Monroe, with an extensive wine menu and a greatly knowledgeable wait staff to help you make choices if you are unsure what you'd like. The place is very modern with a nice, romantic "date night" air. On our first night we tried the basic board and the "gimme juice"option, where the sommelier will bring you a glass based on some preferences you provide for a set price while their neon "juice" sign is lit. My husband and I are both pescetarian, so we gave the apple and brie panini a try and were more than happy with the choice. Definitely give it a try, did not disappoint!

I loved visiting this local spot. Off the beaten path and a little hard to find, it sits back off the road at the back of a plaza right next to a nice old, giant oak. There is a cute little outside are with plenty of room and some heaters for colder weather. It gets a little shade from the oak tree depending on the time of day. Our group sat inside near the large window. The inside is adequately sized and has a large bar. The wine selection is phenomenal! The service was impeccable, and very friendly. We experienced one of the charcuterie boards, the ciabatta bread and butter, and the pimento grilled cheese. All of it was outstanding. My favorite wine of the flight we tried was the Nero D'Aavola Sicilia red. Such a robust flavor! I have to mention the bathrooms. They remind me of camping in the forest. On tops of the cool, leafy wallpaper and sound recordings of a babbling brook and spring peeper frogs the service, food and wine selections, made this one of my favorite places to come to enjoy wine and good company.

One of my new favorite spots in town. Great for date night or drinks after brunch, this is a small comfortable place with an excellent selection and incredible staff. They have a special where they bring you a glass of white or red - sommelier's choice, and it's a lot of fun! Absolutely worth the time! PS the dessert is incredible.

This is a fun place to go for wine and charcuterie! I think it's a bit pricey for what you get, but it's fun if you're down for upscale vibes for the evening. One thing I LOVE: you can order a "surprise me" glass of wine, and the bartender/sommelier will pour you something based on what you say you like. I thought that was super fun!

I found this place for my 21st birthday. It was so beautiful and perfect. I chose the southern cheeseboard and it was deliciously paired with the sour cherry jam and orchard pond honey. I had the moscato in the picture posted below. 100% recommend. Waitress was so sweet and kind.

Amazing spot with adorable ambience, excellent wine and knowledgeable staff. But do not underestimate how delicious their food is too. The special entrees are quite special, we had lobster gnocchi last night and side salad with freshest fruit and a seriously flavorful strawberry vinaigrette. They also have rotating creative flavors of from scratch ice cream and sorbets- perfect for a summer night. Highly recommend!

My friends and I went to the Hummingbird Wine Bar for a Girls' Night Out and we had a great experience. The drinks were good, the staff was friendly and the ambience was relaxing. It is a great place for a gathering of friends, a date night, or just to enjoy some wine alone. They also have several specials, themed nights & memberships available for customers. I definitely would recommend visiting this wine bar, you won't be disappointed!
