Delicious food! Order was ready on time. Friendly staff. Collard soup was amazing!

Super disappointed when I stopped today to enjoy a nice quiet meal in my favorite “cafe”. Not sure when the owner decided do away with servers and to serve everyone in “brown bags”, but there you have it. It’s Chick-fil-A for double the cost and time. Food is still excellent, that was the saving grace.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve frequented Jeri’s, even before the second location had opened. But I’ve now had it twice since the midtown location became takeout or catering only. Anyways, I’m extremely disappointed & sad to see the quality drop so much. The first time, I figured it was an off day. So I tried again. But this time was far worse. The lobster bisque was so runny, not thick & rich like it used to be. The piece of bread with soup was way too crunchy & hard to be eaten. And the sandwich was cold on the inside & the croissant was very dry. I attached a picture to show what I mean.I’m the last to make complaints at restaurants, especially since I’ve always loved Jeri’s, but honestly, I hope they can do better than this, going forward.

Limited menu, the omelette was dry.Food wasn't good and I'm not picky or hard to please.

This was my favorite place to eat in midtown, so sad it’s changing to primarily be an event location. They still do take out, but the price is the same, the portions are smaller, and you miss out on the whole experience of the lovely location. So sad to lose this unique dining experience.

I used to love this place. No longer. This was my second visit after the change in their business model (in Midtown) and I won't be back. Pros: none. Cons: I had to wipe down the seat and table outside, which were filthy. Even relocating to a second table resulted in the same experience. The attitude of the cashier and server was lackluster, at best. After paying nearly $20 for a sandwich and drink and being handed a brown paper bag with my order was, well, insulting. And having to add a tip in advance of said lackluster service?? PLEASE!

so disappointed honestly. Arrived today, sunday at 1:30pm, and were told it would be a 35 minute wait, no problem!. we waited right outside near the hostess stand, even went up a second time to check our reservation in which we were told 4 people in-front of us. over an hour later, close to approaching their closing time of 3pm, we were told she wasn't sure of why we were skipped but she could seat us now… no one apologized or checked in on us. sat for an additional 15 min (mind you the place is half empty at this time) until we finally ordered etc. still hoping to enjoy our time! when we got our food you could tell mine was ready well before his. my bread was soggy around every edge. my boyfriends add on was missing from his meal but we were still charged of course. all in all very poor experience. though we ate less than half of our food and didn’t take it Togo no one asked us anything. we got our check, left, picked up a pizza and headed home. happy sunday jeris cafe, out $80 and food nor experience was good. If I had to guess, the dark haired hostess looked hungover and could barely keep her head up. I don’t think we’ll be back here again..

Jeri’s is the kind of place you can eat at 30 times and it’ll be good EVERY TIME! Their food is fresh, well seasoned, and prepared with LOVE! There are many options, I always get suggestions from my servers for new ideas. Not to mention, their menu is changing weekly (new French toast) and monthly (new sandwich of the month).Jeri and her awesome staff keep it cool, and truly strive to make every visit their guests an excellent one.Jeri’s is the perfect brunch/lunch spot for friends, family, and anyone looking to have their belly full and ready for a nap!

Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options with the ability to add on chicken or jumbo blackened shrimp to any of it!

Dietary restrictions: They are VERY good about restrictive diets! I am gluten free and the first time I got it, I had to double check that it actually was gluten free before I dug in! You can’t tell a difference, great quality. They also take every allergy seriously and take extra precautions when instructed to do so.

I saw all the positive reviews so although we were told it was a 45 minute wait I decided it would be worth it. First it was much longer than a 45 minute wait. At 50 minutes I asked what was going on, they said it was because we were a party of 5, but they could seat us at a table for 4 with an extra chair. We agreed since we saw all these tables for 4 open. These 4 top tables can easily fit 5 , yet it was only after 50 minutes of waiting and my asking what was going on that it was offered. I was pretty irritated as we were lead through the smoky kitchen to get to our table but I was willing to let it go. It then took forever to get an order in and even longer to get our food. I assumed the food must be really good since nothing else was and every review seemed positive, but that assumption was incorrect. When our food finally did come out, It was so bad that I couldn’t even finish it. The meat was cut too thick, the spread overpowered the taste of everything else, it didn’t seem like they even put cheese on it, the bread was way too thick and heavy. My son ordered a breakfast sandwich on the same bread and couldn’t finish his either. He did like the capris side salad but I had a side of the fruit salad that was basically one big piece of pineapple. Happily I do like pineapple and just had to cut it into pieces so I could eat it. My son’s friend ordered a fruit and yogurt bowl that she couldn’t believe was that expensive since it was really small and also not very good. I don’t know what the grand total of our meal was but it was overpriced, it also took about 2+ hours and my cloths smelled like smoke for the rest of the day.

Used to love this place. The food is still pretty good but since the new location opened the original has gone downhill. What used to be a nice brunch spot feels like an overpriced fast food experience with plastic plates and cutlery, and teeny tiny little paper cups being passed off as soup bowls. There used to always be a wait time, the place was so popular. Noticed the last time I went that this is no longer the case.

Well definitly not the experience we were looking for. We saw all the signs for Jeri's cafe but since the Grove Market sign was still up, we thought that it was still there but when we walked up, knew right away it wasnt but thought we would give it a chance. When we went to the hostess stand, we were greeted by a young lady who seemed to be having a bad day. I asked when the name of the restaurant changed amd her response was "the whole company changed". It wasn't her response that was rude, it was the look on her face and her body language that said it all. We sat down and our server came over, spoke way to fast to even understand her. We ordered our food, she came back with our drinks, then brought back a plate of something with crackers, never explaining what it was and since we had never been there before, we had no idea what it was. I grabbed a cracker and almost took a bite but something said ask what it was. So when I was able to flag someone down to ask what was in it (our luck it was the hostess with the mostest), I asked what was in it. Her response was Pimento Cheese, with this look of complete disgust as to why we were even asking. Repeated again "please tell us what is in it". She stated oinion, which is what I thought and since my fiance had an onion allergy, we quickly sent it away. Finally our food arrived (we had the classic french toast and the chef's special french toast). Looked great expect several of my pieces were hard as a rock and it was swimming in syrup. The few slices we were able to eat, tasted great but again there was so much syrup, you couldnt eat it. We then waited an additional 10 minutes just to find our server again to get our check. While waiting, several observations were made: servers with hair hanging in the food as they served; no cooks with beard guards on, I could go on but we definitely won't be back.

The food and service are good, but it was extremely disappointing to pay more than $50 for brunch and have it served in plastic to go containers. It's extremely wasteful, not to mention unpleasant to not eat out of real plates or with real utensils.

First time eating here and it was great. Brandon was my server and he was on top of everything! It’s nice to see this place has regulars, that’s always a good sign.I started off with an iced matcha and they serve complimentary pimento cheese and crackers. I had “The Tab” with a tomato bisque as the side. The tomato bisque was so good! I would put it up there with Bella Bella’s tomato bisque. It was that good! Turkey with apple butter was a nice spin and it paired well together. There is a reason that’s the most popular pick.I never saw the inside because I had my pup with me and we sat out on the patio. This is a dog friendly space and the patio was so nice and quiet It was perfect for the four legged visitors.

Parking: you can enter the parking lot off of N Gadsden street or thomasville rd.I brought my family back and we enjoyed a nice selection of food! Honestly everything you order is fresh and taste great! I ordered the pesto steak sandwich and it was a brilliant blend of flavors. I was a huge fan! The collar greens were delicious.

i’ve been here multiple times and for some reason the service is almost never good. i went by myself on a weekday to grab lunch and i was seated inside where i was next to the kitchen. in my opinion, it was not busy at all but my server took my drink order, left for about 15 minutes, dropped it off, and then she disappeared again for a while before she finally took my order. the only time she checked on me was near the end of my meal and asked me if i was ready to pay while she was already pulling up my ticket on the tablet thingy. the service has been consistently bad and also lack attentiveness.
