Best sushi in town. Be sure to ask about the buy-one-get-one roll deal. It is a signature of the place, but oddly not really explained in the menu....

This is my favorite place to get Japanese food.

Lively but quiet and warm atmosphere, the servers are always on top of things and sweet to us, and the sushi is SO good. Me and my wife frequent here often :) And they always have their BOGO deal! It make sit so much more accessible than other sushi restaurants and I can't say how much I appreciate it.

Ok so I ordered 3 rolls the bamboo roll , "spicy" crunchy roll, & the pickled vegetable roll that I forgot the name of. My boyfriend got the tori katsu. Both of them are the biggest skimp I've seen in a very long time. I ordered extra tobiko (flying fish caviar)... where are they I see 2 itty-bitty little clumps if not 3 but that's it & don't get me started on the ginger & wasabi. That itty-bitty little bit is supposed to go on 3 rolls are you kidding me? Also the whole bowl was primarily rice & lettuce with a little bit of chicken. Let me save you the trouble & money don't go here the taste of the food is subpar & they skimp hard! Publix grocery store food is so much better then this & cheaper AND they don't skimp. Go there! Kiku is utterly disappointing.

My husband and I ordered takeout from here and it was the horrible! We got the dinner for 2 hibachi (steak, lobster, shrimp), and we upgraded the steak to filet. We also got chicken teriyaki hibachi, and a volcano roll. Nothing was good. The hibachi didn’t seem like it was cooked on a hibachi grill. The steak was flavorless and dry, cooked well done (not my preferred temp). The lobster…that thing was so overdone it was a hockey puck. The shrimp were cooked ok but lacking flavor. The chicken seemed like it was already cooked frozen chicken, thawed out and teriyaki glaze thrown in top of it. This was the absolute worst hibachi I’ve ever had. The volcano roll was ok, but not anything I’d ever go back for. Publix sells better sushi. This was a total waste of $114. Maybe the dine-in experience is different, but I’m not willing to risk it. I will not be going back here again. On another note, the hostess was very nice. That was my only pleasant experience with Kiku.

I used to come to Kiku as a college student 10 years ago, and it's actually the place where I realized I loved sushi. I would come with friends for a fancy night out or for a nice date night. For this reason, I have memories of this restaurant and wanted to check it out 10 years later. The interior has been updated and the ambiance is fun. You won't just find college students here, but it's a nice mix of families, couples, and college students. It seems very popular because on Friday night, we waited about 10-15 minutes for a table, but it was well worth it! Now, as a vegetarian, I was so happy to see multiple options! I ordered the sweet potato roll, the green roll, and some tofu skin - these are all my favorite rolls, and they delivered! We also tried the cheese roll for the novelty, and it was very tasty! I would say the green roll could have had more cucumber to make it perfect, but overall, we were so happy with the quality of the food and the price (especially compared to Miami prices). I will happily come back on my next trip to Tallahassee!

They have a great selection of sushi, as well as meals from the kitchen. Never had a bad experience.

The vegetable hibachi consists of only microwaved carrots and broccoli. Very little flavor. Portions have been cut back and they no longer have mushrooms, zucchini and other veggies in any of the side veggies that you get with a ($15+ meal). There used to be a good amount of mixed veggies and noodles as seen in older pictures in reviews. Very disappointing. Food was also cold... Zero effort was put into the dishes and they came out very fast which made me feel that the food was cooked hours prior. Panda Express is the same price for better tasting food that is hot when you get it. I did not order sushi from here because of the dirty smell when you walked in. Save your money
