Amazing job on my 10 yo 110+lb gsd. He’s got a double coat (probably a triple from the thickness) and sheds like you can’t believe. Took him in for a brush, de-shed and bath and wow! He literally even looks like a younger dog. First time in I don’t know how long I haven’t had to vacuum my house in over 24 hours!! (Usually 2-3x/day) I am definitely impressed!

Love love love ? Just love this place in Torvehallerne, I got the one with caramel, chocolate and the original. Shared with a friend and they were so good we finished them just the two of us ? We also got amazing hot chocolate and service was great ?. Highly recommend this bakery

On my daughter's insistence we breakfasted at Laura's, me a bit reluctant as she was on about their cakes...not a very Norwegian breakfast type I must say. Well, we got there, had to wait a bit for a table, then went to order at the counter. Short story: we both had to try one healthy option and one less so, meaning we both had rye bread with cheese and a cake each. The best rye bread I've ever had? Nod, nod, from my daughter. Cakes? She over the moon with her cream-filled sort of bun or pastry, I now so high as the marzipan cover on my potato cake (Kartoffelkage in Danish) tasted too strongly of almond essence. Both had excellent teas, so the only 4 stars are for my cake. Will visit again, definitely.

With fresh pastries and warm speciality coffee, you cant go wrong when starting your day here. Quick service from a young and friendly staff as well. We had the classic cinnamon roll and the other typical Danish pastry pictured below (not sure the name) and our fav was the typical pastry... delicious! Its situated in a beautiful market filled with so much good food, so if its not breakfast come here for lunch and have Laura's for dessert. There are two buildings to this market and they are both must sees.

Kartofgelkage (potato cake... no potatoes involved) was fantastic and an absolute must try, the coffee was decent too. 181dkk (£17ish) got us 4 pastries and two large coffees, seemed fair for what we got and all the pastries were really good.

We'd heard this place was great so we popped in for morning tea. We bought pastries and coffee. It was pricey (but everything in Copenhagen is pricey) but we hoped it was worth it. Let me start by saying the pastries were amazing. I had the citrus scroll which was delicious and my husband had the chocolate one. My problem was the coffee. I drink straight black coffee - no milk or sugar. The coffee was dreadful. It was served in a huge cup for starters and anyone who knows anything about coffee knows that less is more...!! It was basically a cup of boiling water with a standard shot of coffee. It was so weak and tasteless it was almost clear. I couldn't drink it and resented paying so much for such rubbish. We went back the next day because the pastries are so good but this time I chose a hot chocolate instead of the disgusting coffee. The girl said the hot chocolate was only served in large cups. That should have been a warning. Same deal as the coffee - large cup of watery, tasteless hot chocolate that I paid way too much for and couldn't drink. Sorry Lauras, we gave you a chance but never again. Copenhagen is full of amazing bakeries. The Danes 'get' cinnamon and know how to cook a brilliant pastry. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.

The staff at Laura’s were accomodating to non-danish speakers - I didn’t feel burdensome at all. Pastry was delicious!

I wanted a dessert, it was before dinner because I had very late lunch. I tried to find a place for Danish pastries, I found Laura’s Bakery and arrived there 30 minutes before they closed at 7pm. Big mistake, don’t go to to bakeries when they are about to close, they don’t sell you fresh bread and in this case they don’t alert you that your bread will be already cold and dry. And above all, don’t ask for the Trestamme, trunk tree, it looks great (see picture) but it is cloyingly sweet, I couldn’t finish it; I changed to a Cinnabon which was tasty but dry (pictured too),”. Probably during morning time everything is a different story at Laura’s Bakery

Great place for a morning coffee and a delicious cinnamon bun :) to watch the world go by. Super chilled, with outdoor space.

Great coffee and a wide assortment of fantastic pastries and breads. They also serve breakfast plates, which are an excellent way to start the day. Have gone there twice in two days and planning to go back tomorrow. If you’re staying in the neighborhood, I’d highly recommend!

Wonderful bakery at the indoor food market Breakfast number 4, and 2 chocolate croissants which was all incredibly fresh and tasty, I’d come back everyday if I could!! Although, a smile when you order or ask for more milk (it had run out, I wasn’t being difficult) would be nice!!

Best pastries I tried in Copenhagen- bar none. The apple tart is to die for and the cinnamon bun was amazing too. I don’t think you can make a wrong pick!
