We have frequented this place for years; however, it's now under new ownership, and the quality of food and service has diminished to the point that the restaurant is now a health risk.
The new owner(s) have incorporated an Indian cuisine menu with the traditional Thai menu, but the food quality is concerning. Our food order was wrong (we received chicken broth Pho rather than beef), and the vegetables were not fresh (see pics). Our server was on his second day on the job. He was nice but lacked understanding of the issues we experienced.
We observed spoiled, black, moldy spinach and unchewable beef strips in the traditional pho soup. The beef was of such poor quality that it was full of fat and gristle and not edible. Also, entrée prices have increased and are higher than those of other competitors. Bottom line: This restaurant is not worth the prices paid. There are serious quality and health concerns. This place needs a major self-reevaluation by its owner(s).

Visited this place multiple times and the taste is always consistent. They have the best dosas in Tallahassee. Mysore Masala Dosa and Chicken 65 wet are must tries. Chaitanya took care of us and he is very friendly. Will be back soon!!

I had mysore masala dosa which was delicious and idly sambhar. I wish sambhar was more soupy to give you that fulfillment but overall it was very good.
Foods are very tasty. Like the Malasa chai.

We went to Lemongrass and really enjoyed the food. Tikka and Tandoori starters are so good. I liked the variety of breads in the menu. everything was tasty and fresh.
Chai took our order and he was super friendly and helpful. Another staff member also helped us; he was smiling and had a positive attitude. They made sure we had everything we needed and made the visit even better.
Great service and a nice experience overall!

It was wonderful dining experience with its fresh, authentic Thai food and inviting atmosphere. The Pad See was perfectly seasoned, and their pad thai had just the right amount of spice. Our server chai was attentive and friendly, making for a truly pleasant evening. Don't miss their summer rolls! I'll definitely be back. And yes the drinks were great too!

Absolutely loved the new Indian and Vietnamese additions at Lemongrass Tallahassee!
The Pho, especially the Eye Round and Brisket, was flavorful and authentic. The Vermicelli bowl was refreshing and perfectly balanced. From the Indian side, the Butter Masala and Mutter Paneer were simply outstanding — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The Bullet Naan is an interesting and fun twist, definitely worth a try!
Desserts were great too, and the service was warm and attentive.
Highly recommend this place if you’re craving something exciting and flavorful — Lemongrass has truly elevated its menu!

Fantastic...but after my 4th and 5th trip, I have to change my 5 star rating to a 2 star rating
The food is good but the service is so hit or miss. I went yesterday afternoon and the food was barely lukewarm as if they just gave me some leftovers.
I went today and they asked me to show verification of my online order despite me coming in and speaking with them just 30 minutes before. Apparently they dont want me to come anymore because these last two times were unacceptable. And to think the first 3 times I ordered they were kind and the food was great so I was planning to make a large catering order for my events but not anymore. I'll go to the other places near appechiola parkway that aren't rude

It's not the same. New owners a few months ago. Added an Indian menu to the already burgeoning Vietnamese/Thai/Chinese offerings. The staff is Indian and the Indian food was decent. Vietnamese Pho was inedible and the bun (vermicelli) was not much better. Service was poor. Friendly enough but all the food came out at different times and so the rest of us sat there waiting looking at our food getting cold. Also we got a shared appetizer and they didn't bring out little plates. Like they don't quite know what they're doing. It's a shame. It's been a Tallahassee fixture and one of my favorites for years but it's not anymore.

Restaurantji Recommends
Used to be an excellent restaurant. Lunched there this week for the first time in a long while. Indifferent service, no soap in the bathroom (so how are staff washing THEIR hands??). The least negative thing I can say about the food was they may have the same recipes, but they apparently lost the buyer and the chef. We won't be back.

Slow to functionally open, says 11 but we got there at 11:20 an no one was at the door to seat us. Service was friendly but messed up the order so took extra time to come out. Portions are huge and flavors are okay, my saag pannier was a little oily. Atmosphere is clean but menus are old and ratty, making it feel grimy. Also area right before the restroom and restroom floors are dangerously slippery with an oil like film. Take caution.

We ordered Chicken 65 and Vijayawada Special Biryani today, and both were the worst in taste. The food was too salty and overloaded with masala. After eating, we felt sick. This is very disappointing and unsafe. I will not suggest this restaurant to anyone. Please take responsibility and ensure proper food quality.
