They didn’t have most of the drinks on the menu and then when I finally ordered a martini, it was really bad.

The menu changed from the last time I visited, so my order options weren't as fruitful as I liked. I also took my kids who ended up having to get "adult" portions of the Brunch Burger and Steak and Eggs. Someone was on a Britney Spears kick, so the music was just ok. Our servers were double teaming, so the service was good.

Our first time here. Very casual/fun place. Great cocktails! Great selection as well. That alone was worth the visit. The smash burger was perfection! Service was great and atmosphere was welcoming and funky! We’ll be back!

Everything was great except for the desert of cheese cake. It was a tad bit burned, and didn't taste the greatest in the world, but we notified our server, Connor, who was excellent and our main entrees and appetizers were superb. Definitely planning on coming back to this gem of a place.

We went to this place on our date day and I am not sure what happened.
Pros:
The service was good, the waitress was attentive
Cons:
* the food could have been way better, my husband's chicken and waffle dish was very custardly, kind of undercooked. The fried chicken had a unique taste, it could have been slightly seasoned more and could have been more crispy. Kind of soggy.
* I felt like the southwest tofu dish could have had a little spice/seasoning and maybe some sort of bread item (tortilla, roti, cornbread) on the side to make it more like a filling bowl. I also thought it would have been a little better with rice added.
*They don't offer any other drinks but water during the daytime..we couldn't get a tea or a soda..I was told they only do soft drinks at night but did tell us about the alcohol. I told her we aren't drinkers. So I guess water it is.
*It smelled of cigarettes and I couldn't make out where it was coming from

These folks have great cocktails and very good food. The wine they offer is limited but generally pretty good. I wish personally that they had a larger wine offering, but what they have is nice. We always visit when we are in town.

I am not one for leaving bad reviews very often, but my experience last night was horrible.
I’ll start with the positive: The chicken sandwich was incredible (and incredibly messy). I sat at the bar to eat, and I had to wait forever just to get someone to hand me a menu. I considered just leaving, and by the end of the meal, I was wishing I had.

The drink I ordered was just okay. I wouldn’t order it again. I got the vibe that they were trying really hard to make their drinks/bar menu sound ~creative~. So many ingredients and “infused” flavors, and you couldn’t taste any of them.

After I got my food, I got ready to order another drink, and I needed some more water. I looked around and tried to get someone’s attention for about 10 or 15 minutes, but couldn’t get anyone to even make eye contact with me. I finished my food and decided I’d just head out without ordering another drink.

I had to wait almost 30 minutes just to get someone’s attention so I could pay. The bar/wait staff walked by me countless times and refused to acknowledge me. I honestly considered just leaving without paying, and I’m not sure anyone would have noticed if I had decided to do that.

Needless to say, I won’t be returning here, nor will I be trying any of their other establishments.

i heard so many great things about this place so my guy recommended this place for our first date. the hostess was nice and sat us down. the place wasn’t full but it had a good amount of people. keep in mind, we are the only people of color inside. we waited for our waiter for 20 minutes and finally he came to our table. we gave him our drink orders and proceeded to talk to get to know one another. we got our drinks & after 20 minutes, we figured maybe they were backed up but again it wasn’t that packed. our waiter left after we got our drinks with no words and did not ask us for our order. around 35-40 minutes we finally get frustrated and decide we are just gonna go to another establishment
. around the 45 minute mark, our waiter finally came and asked our order. we stated we didn’t want to eat here and asked for the check. the waiter did apologize but again that is RIDICULOUS especially as a first impression and our first date. luckily the next place we choose was a lot better and easier to get drinks. i’m now saying our race had anything to do with it but every other table of the other race had a table full of food and drinks, but we did not. the customer service here is subpar and i do not recommend

Don't like putting this as a four, because it's not, but it is also not a five. It's a great place to have a twist on American-pub food. Some items like the burger hit the spot as comfort food, some items are a little out of the box. It all works, it was all consistently good. I would emphasize a little better communication and organization on the service side. The bar looks like they hustle, as does what you can see into the kitchen. Seems like a nice place to hand and drink, too. We went during dinner, so it wasn't as crazy, apparently things pick up as the night progresses.

Liberty is open EVERY evening from 5 pm on. Which is an awesome thing on a Sunday or Monday when so many other places are closed. Their specialty and happy hour drinks are sure to please! Their food is good, menu selections are so-so, not a lot of choices, but it is very tasty.
