Excellent food, service, atmosphere and all together experience every time. Chef Joe is a legend and his art & vision shine through his team, flavors & presentation. Not enough stars in the sky to give for this recommendation!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. My wife and I, as the only Black patrons present, felt overlooked during our visit. Upon arrival, the waitress informed us that we would be seated as soon as a family that had been there for three hours left. After the family departed, she assured us we would be seated shortly. However, when another couple walked in without a reservation, they were seated before us. I was taken aback and waited for 5-10 minutes, hoping another table would become available. When I approached the same waitress to inquire, she casually remarked, 'Oh, I was just joking.' I was stunned by her response. We chose to leave without causing a scene, but it's disheartening to encounter such treatment in 2024.

This was a hidden gem that we just stumbled on, but boy, what a treat!

The food was obviously made with love, and all three of our plates were delicious. What really made the experience was our server, Yvette. She was attentive, and her knowledge of the menu was phenomenal.
I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!
We will definitely be back.

My wife and I love having dinner here before we go to a concert. Tonight I ordered the filet rare and it was fantastic! The chef however did not think it was rare enough and after I was about halfway through it, he brought out another filet just because he wasn’t happy with the first. My wife had the Bronzed Grouper and she stated it was the best grouper dish she has ever had! The attention to customer satisfaction and pride in food and service quality is top notch at Lucillas. Highly recommend and, of course, we’ll be back!

We would come back for the food but our service was a bit rude. There was a communication error on an entree and when it was brought out and we refused it, she was very rude, like it was our fault, and didn’t even check back on us after. Then she added extra drinks to our bill plus the additional entree. And we had to wait forever to get our card back, eventually walking up to the counter to finish paying.
It was also uncomfortably warm in the restaurant.
I’m sad that the service was so poor or we would be back regularly.

One of my favorite restaurants in tally. Lovely atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. Wish they would bring back the sticky toffee pudding dessert though!

We had the oyster and pimento appetizers. Those were both good, particularly the oysters.

The issue was with the eggplant pasta and snapper dishes. The eggplant pasta tasted like marinara sauce, had no depth of flavor with regards to the eggplant and mushrooms.

The snapper dish was simply bland. Granted everything was fresh but it really was lacking in salt as well as having so much extra cream and oil drizzled around the risotto.

Overall the food was not "bad" but a one note and not memorable

The red snapper with the key lime beurre blanc, lobster risotto and sautéed spinach is the best fish entree in Tallahassee.

Kid-friendliness: Chef Joe was extremely kind to my son since we walked through the door. Amazing atmosphere
