Lucky Goat is my favorite “go to” coffee stop. I go there 3-5 times per week. I visit all Tallahassee locations and always find the staff to be friendly and cordial. I highly recommend Lucky Goat.

I visited Lucky Goat on Friday, October 25, 2024, around noon. I ordered a latte and iced coffee, but the cashier rang up a cold brew instead. When I asked about alternatives, he informed me that cold brew was the only iced coffee option at Lucky Goat, though I knew they also offered iced Americanos, so I ordered one instead.

Later, three friends joined me, so I ordered three scones/muffins and asked to have them warmed up. A different employee, a very kind woman, took this order. I mentioned the treats were for my friends who just came in, but when I went to pick them up, they were packed in to-go boxes. I requested plates and forks, and the original cashier, already a bit curt from earlier, told me, 'Next time, tell us it’s for here when you order!' and I said "I did !." The woman overheard, apologized for the mix-up, and admitted it was her mistake, but the cashier didn’t acknowledge the situation or apologize. I'm unsure what had him upset, but it felt unprofessional to bring personal frustrations into a customer interaction. Thankfully, the woman’s kind service balanced out the experience, though the initial encounter left a poor impression of Lucky Goat.

1250 on September 11 Lucky goat Bannerman. Girl with ponytail glasses and gray Striped pants needs to find a different line of work obviously she does not like what she’s doing.

The Lucky Goat is a Tallahassee gem. They roast their own coffees, and it is perfectly done and not over roasted. I am not usually a fan of fllavored coffees, but theirs are excellent. I would highly recommend them for a nice cafè experience without the cost or lack of atmosphere from the big box coffee shops. Take home a bag (or two) of their ground coffees and take your home brew to the next level. Keep on rockin' it Lucky Goat!! ?
