Went to McAlister's Deli Tallahassee August 31 with family from out of town. When we stepped up to the counter we and other patrons were informed they were open but could not take anymore orders with no explanation. WHAT‽ While we were outside trying to figure where to eat, someone from the deli came outside to tell us it's because they didn't have enough help and we need to wait 30 minutes. If they had made that explanation inside I and my family would have waited but it was too late. There was no turning back and I will never go there again. It so happens that we decided to go to Kairos Mediterranean across the street. It's now my new lunch place. Fresh ingredients, healthier, and super friendly. First time for us in Kairos. Thank you McAlister for not serving us. You lost a customer and my family's money. Customer service is paramount. Rudeness kills patronage.

Waited over 30min for a sandwich and ended up leaving without a refund as there were 3 orders ahead of me wanting refunds for their time waited as well. Staff was very rude to these customers. Overall the dining room was very messy with napkins on the floor, empty trays at tables, and sauces smashed on the ground. No new orders were taken and all new customers were turned away during my wait.

Subaru employee tried to gaslight me terrible experience literally don’t go here actually one of the worst restaurants around the food is really bad and the employees I just I genuinely do not understand what their criteria for hiring is apparently you have to be rude and gaslight the customers insane

McAlister's is a go-to of mine when traveling. The staff is always friendly and the food is great. So this time I got the king club sandwich. If you have not tried this one, you need to. This sandwich is massive and packed with goodies. It really is 2 meals in one. My only suggestion is to ask for an extra pickel so you get one with each sandwich half, lol. So, give them a try and have a blessed day.
Absolutely fantastic. It's not hard to get a great meal and phenomenal service here. My beautiful wife and I went here a week ago and were highly impressed.

Came in for a quick lunch and everything was off. I got the half veggie sandwich and half tomato bisque. The sandwich was more like a quarter sandwich, and the bread was mealy and not toasted. The tomato soup tasted exactly like ketchup, and i couldn't taste the tea at all.
The tiny servings were especially off putting because there were lots of signs advertising big servings.
Will not be coming again do not recommend.
