Many tables covered with litter. Indifferent service. Soup tasty but lukewarm. Sandwich tasty but soggy.

Customer service is a HUGE thing for me.. I prefer 2 club sandwiches. I have order for me and my husband serval times before this time the sandwiches looked like half sandwiches so I went back in and asked . The young lady said that they were whole clubs even though I knew I have had club before and it was not that small I said ok. There was no bacon on the sandwitches …I asked for 2 pickles which were not included in our box .. here comes some dude from the back being loud saying” it was my fault I don’t put pickles in there I didn’t think you wanted them” I said yes I would like them.. he says “i raise my had it’s my fault I did it”” before you go off” now I was very polite so why was he making a scene I have no idea smh the was ignorant and I would never go back to this unprofessional place! Wastes of money

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT COME HERE. This is your warning.

This was truly the worst experience I’ve had at a McAlisters, the line was long, the lady at the register had no idea what she was doing and when I asked for any modifications she just ignored me because she didn’t know how to ring it in and all our food came wrong. Everyone went to break or lunch during the rush leaving literally nobody there to handle the giant line. Every single table was not bussed and was dirty so the lunch rush had no where to sit. We didn’t get our drinks after ordering or when we got our food so I had to stand up and wait forever to get our food. My husband is lactose intolerant and his no cheese modification was ignored so his sandwich had cheese and he couldn’t even eat his food. Really a terrible experience and deters me from ever even wanting to go to a McAlisters again and I actually did like this restaurant. So absolutely infuriating. They are BARELY running an establishment.

This chain has certainly suffered in recent years. The quality has taken a nose dive as has the pride of the locations. This spud pictured was supposed to be a smokehouse spud; however, apparently the kitchen didn't get the memo. I'm not sure what it was but it was fast less than mediocre. The skin, I couldn't cut thru, there were 4 chunks of meat a bit of cheese and gravy on the skin, but not on the edible portion of the spud. The service was slow, the food was less than mediocre and the ambience was dirty. Even the outdoor area was equally a mess. You guys need to do better.

Sundays every where are busy and I knew that before walking in. I wasn’t expecting 30 minute waits though. Nobody else has a thing to say to me expect the young lady at the register. She apologized about the wait time continuously while she was still taking more orders and taking food out. McAlister’s needs to choose better employees that work in the back because I was staring at the man in the back who was moving things around and had not even started anybody’s food. The conversation with the cashier I had was wonderful but everyone else needs to do better.

Went for lunch on Sunday 11/16. Waited nearly 10 mins at the front of the line before anyone even spoke to us or acknowledged we were there while the lined backed up behind us. A woman who was already there approached the counter and said she had been waiting nearly an hour for her food and the staff didn’t really do much to help. Once we finally placed our take out order (from a pretty unfriendly staff person), it took 45 mins to get it. 6 tables who ordered after me got their food before me, and at no point was there any acknowledgment that it was taking a long time, or that my food was being prepared or anything. Almost all the tables were left unbussed, there was only one person working at the front, while there were at least 4 people in the kitchen, but idk what they were doing because it was taking so long for everyone’s food to come out. When we finally got our food (which never would have made it to me if I hadn’t been paying attention because there was no name attached to my order) and I mentioned how long we had been waiting, there still wasn’t any apology or attempt to make things better, just a very terse, “ma’am, we’re just really busy,” which I get, but the reason they were busy is because nothing was being prepared, not because there were really that many customers. For the most part once we finally got it the food was ok, but my son’s nachos were soft and the cheese on my baked potato had re-hardened which makes me wonder how long it had all been sitting back there in the boxes before it eventually made it out to us. All around an unpleasant experience and we will not be returning to McAlisters anytime soon, which is unfortunate because I used to love this place.

I was the first person in today. Stopped in the bathroom and it was so dirty my shoes stuck to the floor. I should have left then but remained hopeful. Ordered at 10:54 and at 11:20 asked where my cup of soup was after seeing other people who came in after get their full meals. It was overlooked. I paid for my order up front. Had to.pay again when assistant said the cash register wasn't under her name. Still waiting to see if I get one or 2 charges. I love McAllister's but this experience has been very disappointing.

Not a fan. Workers seemed to not care and were fairly incompetent. Very slow service... Update....33 minutes and still no food

Went to McAlister's Deli Tallahassee August 31 with family from out of town. When we stepped up to the counter we and other patrons were informed they were open but could not take anymore orders with no explanation. WHAT‽
While we were outside trying to figure where to eat, someone from the deli came outside to tell us it's because they didn't have enough help and we need to wait 30 minutes. If they had made that explanation inside I and my family would have waited but it was too late. There was no turning back and I will never go there again.
It so happens that we decided to go to Kairos Mediterranean across the street. It's now my new lunch place. Fresh ingredients, healthier, and super friendly. First time for us in Kairos. Thank you McAlister for not serving us. You lost a customer and my family's money. Customer service is paramount. Rudeness kills patronage.

Waited over 30min for a sandwich and ended up leaving without a refund as there were 3 orders ahead of me wanting refunds for their time waited as well. Staff was very rude to these customers. Overall the dining room was very messy with napkins on the floor, empty trays at tables, and sauces smashed on the ground. No new orders were taken and all new customers were turned away during my wait.
