Midtown Kava Lounge

This is a wonderful place that hosts all manner of interesting and authentic folk. One of the owners is a queer Vietnamese guy that is very supportive of the community. I wouldn’t be surprised if his holy garments are rainbow.

I hadn't been here for around 5 years, so I decided to pop in. I have to say that I was pleased to see that they are still open and going strong. The staff were amazing and the renovations are beautiful. I highly recommend Midtown Kava Lounge for anyone looking for an alternative to the Alcohol Bar scene. CHEERS!!

A fine establishment full of fine folks. A welcoming crowd with reasonably priced kava and kratom, teas, energy drinks, and more. Regular events and a shelf full of games. Top tier, highly recommend

Owner/operator. The bartender was super knowledgeable and explained the whole history of the business. She also didn't have the drink that I was looking for, so I told her to come up with an experiment- she did NOT disappoint!!! She was super nervous that I wouldn't like it, but she did amazing ? The owner is a retired veteran and extremely involved ? he made sure every, single person who walked in was greeted and felt welcomed. Awesome place ?

Elizabeth is very informative and helpful! She explains everything out in detail for the newbies, while.keepong it fun for the regulars! Definitely recommend coming in and giving it a try!

Elizabeth and her team are phenomenal. Brought a first time Kava drinker with me and she took the time to share their mission statement, the traditions associated with kava and suggestions on how to best experience Kava. My husband had a single shell, my friend had a Tiki and I had a juice (currently pregnant). The atmosphere is super chill and the staff is great! Definitely plan on visiting again anytime we’re in town!
