This place is amazing! I have a lot of issues with food and everyone is very accommodating and they gladly serve until close! Many times they have helped me out with 30 minutes or less before close and I feel bad but they are very friendly about it and I just can’t say enough positive things. Like the one time they COOKED FRESH FRIES for me 15 minutes prior to close (I honestly have the worst timing) but they gladly helped me out and it honestly made my day. These people that work here actually care and put out quality food!

the food was super good and it was ready really quick! service when taking our order was mid. it was my first time going so i didn’t know what to order. the lady kept rolling her eyes at me which made me uncomfortable but everyone else there seem really nice.

The absolute best barbecue in Tallahassee! The veggies offered are all made using good `ole southern cooking recipes. I will often go there just to buy a quart of green beans w/ bacon (awesome) and a quart of the collard greens as they are the best I've ever had. I was skeptical eating collard greens at first, but after my 93yr old Mom ate some and just raved about it, I had to try it and just fell in love with it. It's Awesome fer-sher. Great recipe! Their desert selections vary from time to time offering some of the best cobblers made in town. Great atmosphere, especially for military folks and 1st responders,,,

Wow, wow and WOW! It's been a while since I have reviewed somewhere and can only say positive things. The service there is PHENOMONAL! Everyone there is so at ease and friendly and yet the speed of service blows away ANY fast food joint. The food is wonderful. No cheaping out on portions, you will definitely leave satisfied. And it tastes GOOD. I was so tired of eating at the fast food place 100 yds away and smelled the BBQ. I am very pleased that I went. Not just for the food, but for the feeling of having nice people being willing to feed me. That may sound odd but some places just are,,, unfriendly and make the experience suck. Anyway, recommend highly! Just go, you will enjoy it!
My friend last wkd had a celebration of life for her late husband who suddenly passed away. She initially had another venue lined up for event but they could not accommodate her(they failed to notify her, she was confirming details and that’s when she found out). She was in a bind because she needed to find a place on very short notice. So someone suggested Mission BBQ. Once she met with Matthew the manager he immediately said “I got you” Not only did she find a place on short notice, the food was great! He was even involved with the event and now had a hat on display along with patches and a picture of my friends late husband!! I will forever be grateful to this establishment for going above and beyond for my dear friend!!!

Fantastic. Brisket - moist and lean - was great. I ate a half pound of each and enjoyed every bite. Staff was kind and courteous too. Restaurant was clean. And the decor was awesome. Very patriotic.
