Terrible service this place clearly doesn’t care about customers and staff/cooks whomever they are, are lazy. If you need to place an order to go, make sure you call at least 45 min before they close….ridiculous.

Our Anniversary I do not often do reviews but our experience, on our anniversary, was exceptional to say the least. Let me begin by telling you that everyone in the restaurant treated us as I wish other restaurants would. I wish we knew everyone's name. Wendy was our server and we could not have asked for a better one. We were seated promptly and given the opportunity to dine in the "Bubble Room". We sat in this quiet area that made our anniversary even more special. The food was excellent and the portions were plentiful. We split a salad and were given complementary bread. My wife ordered stuffed shells and I had lasagna. We both ordered additional meatballs. After finishing our meals we were treated to a free desert just for our anniversary. We recommend you give them a try. We will be going there much more often. Money well spent.

Excellent restaurant! Elegant atmosphere!! Wonderful for a date night or special occasion!!! Everything was great from salads, steak, pasta, to brussel sprouts. It is all delicious. By far one of the best restaurants in the area, if not the best. Coffee and Tiramisu are a must have after your meal.

Despite having reservations, we were put outside on a cold night. There were weatherproof curtains, but they wouldn't close and left a large gap. The food is good but expensive relative to the basic ingredients of meatballs, chicken, pasta, sauce.... Our waiter was young and inexperienced, but did his best to be helpful.

Oh my goodness! WOW! THIS is what all restaurants should be like. It has a beautiful, clean calm restaurant with fantastic service and phenom8nal food! We had chichen fettucinni alfredo & a pizza. Every bite of food was a explosion of flavor! We would give this restaurant a 10 if we could. We will definitely come back. This will be our go to pce for Italian food from now on for sure. I did not take photos while we were there, but I wish I had. The interior is warm & exquisite.

Tried the Tallahassee Mom & Dad‘s for the second time over a several year period. It was more disappointing this time than the first time! Agreed with others that the red pasta sauce is much too sweet. Don’t know why they have to add (so much) sugar to the sauce! Also the side salad was cheap with almost white iceberg lettuce, tho it did taste pretty good once I got it mixed up. Also strange & disappointing they do not offer salt, pepper, spoons, or ask if you want Parmesan cheese on top of your pasta.l! Had to beg & plead for all those things! The wine selection is also the worst ever, ditto for the one in Thomasville. Don’t know how these Italian restaurants don’t know how to provide good wine! I can go buy a better $10 wine at Publix than a $12 glass at Mom & Dad‘s. Way overpriced for the taste/quality of the food provided! I will never eat at Mom & Dad‘s again, at least not the one in Tallahassee. Recommend you don’t go. The only good thing about it was the service + sitting out on the nice porch.

I visited for an evening birthday party on February 16th . The manager on duty was extremely rude and had no concern about the issues that we were experiencing at this establishment. Thanks to the 1 server that had to handle a party for 20 people by herself. Clearly they need to do better, and we're not going back.

The menu has a nice variety. The service was excellent. Ambiance was pleasant and it was quiet so you could have a conversation without competing with music. I guess they either have a new chef or they decided to change how they prepare the food we have previously enjoyed. We haven't eaten at M & D's in a number of months. I was disappointed in the Chicken Marsala and although my husband liked the Eggplant Parmesan, he preferred the previous recipe. The Chicken Marsala was good but the previous recipe had 2 breasts, no skin and the sauce was tastier. Next time we go to M & D's, I will try something else.
It was an excellent place for dinner. Too bad it was almost empty. Maybe it was because it was Thursday night.
