This place is really good. I got the buffalo chicken wrap and my wife got the chicken bacon ranch wrap. They were both delicious. They also made the food right away. The fries were really good as well. I highly recommend this place.

Someone said, "better burgers than Bird's." So, like an 18th century nobleman slapped across the face with a glove, I took that personally. I will give them high marks on the burgers, but I cannot cosign they are better than Bird's or the Caboose. But definitely a spot I will frequent often because the burgers are damn good.One suggestion to Nelson's management: try an al la carte burger. Make a basic burger that you can add whatever a customer wants. I believe that may be my second favorite aspect of the Bird's experience. If I want three different cheeses and jalapenos, I can get it; blackened burger with bleu cheese crumbles, check. Your menu is good, but there wasn't a specific burger I wanted so I tried something that was relatively close to what I was looking for when I came in last week. It was my first time and I'll definitely be back, but this little tweak will make my, and likely others, experience so much better.I can't remember the name of the gentleman serving us (Scot, maybe) but he was awesome and deserves a mention in this review!

I kept checking Google pics to make sure we were in the right place. It’s one of those places you might not venture in to if the reviews weren’t so good. MAKE SURE YOU VENTURE IN because the burger was sooo good and the staff was super friendly!!! If we’re ever back in Tallahassee we’ll definitely stop in again.

Best thing was service. Unfortunately for me and my family the food lacked on all levels. Food needs some flavor bad. Idk if we came too late or what but I had to add my own BBQ sauce to my burger when I got home for some flavor. They forgot the lettuce I paid for and the fries taste like they were fried in old grease.

Walked over to Nelson's Burger Bar from my hotel and this place is for sure a hole in the wall. We came in on Thursday and what do you know just in time for trivia. We sat at the bar and checked out their large drink menu. I will say a lot of the drinks didn't have prices but I ordered a House Margarita. Our bartender made it just the way I like to too... STRONG! I then started looking at the food menu and like the drink menu it is also huge. It honestly took my about 20 minutes to figure out what I wanted. (this did help me to focus on trivia.) I asked the bartender what she recommended. She said the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich. After thinking about it the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich actually sounded really good so I went with it, plus it comes with both Ham and Bacon so that's a win already. I also upgraded my side of fries to Chili Cheese Fries cause why not. Within 15 minute my food was out and my Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich looked really good. I quickly got into it and damn it's hot! I let it cool for a bit and it was pretty tasty. Could have maybe used some Honey Mustard but that's just me. The fries were crinkle cut and covered in cheesy sauce as well as chili. I'm pretty sure the chili was the bean-less Hormel Chili so just a heads up because it over powers everything. I for sure had a good time at Nelson's Burger Bar and would come back for the food, staff/bartender, and of course trivia. Just a heads up. Went we paid automatic tipping options started at 25% then 30% and 35% so if that something your not able just know. I will say I didn't have an issue with it since our bartender was great. Would for sure go back.

i came to Nelson's Burger Bar through google map by high rating and it did not disappoint. i ordered nelsonburgers and tenders, all of those were pretty good on price, taste and quantity. people there were nice and friendly. a nice person asked quits about superbowl landmarks around the world and grammy Award. everybody there enjoyed it.
