The owner is from.Maryland. I ordered catfish and fried shrimp and hush puppies. No presentation just a slice of lemon in the to go box. We laughed so hard. Food was cool. Gumbo had alot of smoked turkey .way too salty for me. But I would go again for the catfish

The family ate here for our first night of our five days visit in Tallahassee. The gumbo was very tasty. The service was very good. The young man had patience when taking our order. I recommend you give it a try.

I'm not from Florida, but I travel to Tallahassee a few times a month for business. I googled and decided to try 'New Orleans Seafood' yesterday. First and last time. I ordered the $10 mullet sandwich and the six shrimp with hushpuppies for $7.50.

For $18.81, the bag seemed suspiciously light. I opened it to find a fried bony fish skeleton on bread, six medium-sized shrimp, and mini-hushpuppies. The 'mullet' was fileted, and I was given the bony middle part, just the spine and fins, barely any meat. The bones didn't taste bad but not like mullet. For nearly $20, no drink, no fries, just hushpuppies, seasoned bones, and baby shrimp, with lemon wedges on the side.

Still hungry. Very disappointed. Won't be back. The only good thing I will say is that the flavor on the seasoning was on point. It's possible that I could have been a regular while visiting Tallahassee if the food was more appealing.

Visited this fine establishment for a quick bite and truly enjoyed the service provided by Landen! We couldn’t decide on the right options so we ended up trying some of everything as a group! Enjoyed the diverse meal options and the experience! Highly recommend exploring the menu you can’t go wrong with any option.

Awesome service and food. The catfish strips were tender and fried to crispy perfection. Hush puppies too. The cole slaw was wonderful and my sweet tea was just right. I highly recommend this place for good authentic southern fried catfish.

I love the convenience of being able to grab a delicious bite or carry out before you hop on the interstate, the location is perfect.
I appreciate the suggestions, I had no clue what to choose, the menu was so yummy. I needed something to eat on the road. I cannot remember you guys name, I lost my receipt….but I wish I did so I can shout him out! He done an impeccable job greeting, cleanliness, he is definitely on point. I hope this gets you a raise. Tastes like they used old grease & I didn’t get the coleslaw my plate was advertised to come with. No one at the front to greet you. Has a funny smell inside also.
