Flavorless sushi and miso soup. Pretty sure they are reusing tea bags. One bite of lobster total in 1 of 6 lobster rangoons. Poor service. 4 people in dining room and we had to ask and wait for napkins, chopsticks, utensils,....Prices have jumped way up in the last 2 years. Not worth it at all.

Monday is my birthday, and I decided to go to Osaka's in Tallahassee for birthday dinner. I'm not happy with my experience. I'm not a big fan of vegetables, and I loathe onions with a passion. I hate their taste, texture, and the sound they make when you bite into them. I ordered the shrimp hibatchi and told the waitress I wanted double rice without any vegetables in my rice. She acknowledged the request. The cook came out with his little cart and started cooking and dumped his bucket of rice, filled with vegetables on the cook top. I had no choice but to accept things as they were. When I got my rice, I immediately started combing through it with my fork, pulling out all of the tiny onions I could find and discarding them in my empty soup dish. The more I'm digging, the more upset I'm getting because I feel like I'm looking neurotic to my tablemates. I imagine the chef wasn't happy with the face I was making that looked like I kept smelling a toxic fart and the fact I bit into several onions I couldn't see, which ruined my appetite. When I have to throughly pick through my food to discard onions after I specifically asked to have them not included puts me in a bad mood because I'm spending more time focusinf on removing the onions then actually enjoying my food or the cooking display. This experience is too expensive to not listen to the request of your customers. I can't say I will return. Thankfully, there are other hibatchi options in town. Honestly, I think Roboto Tokyo Grill tastes better than Osaka, and that's disappointing.

Great atmosphere! We just waited too long… they gave free appetizer to cover the waiting time. We waited for hibachi table, actually they have plenty of them but somehow it was too crowded at that day. As you know, the best part of the dinner is the cooking show of the chef. Especially fire ? show?

I hosted a dinner for a few of my family members’ birthdays at Osaka. A few of the members were late and a few didn’t show up.The hostess was so patient and attentive with us even though our dinner started 30 minutes later than scheduled.I appreciate her for that.There ended up being 14 of us in attendance and everyone was happy with the food, ambience, and entertainment.Edited to add: Our chef, Don, was AMAZING!Thank you all so much!

I wanted to share my experience this was my FIRST and LAST time to ever come to this Osaka. I went the other night with my coworkers and we enjoyed the night and the chef.We started off by grabbing drinks before the whole party was seated I had purchased a Bahama Mama at the bar and closed my tab and went to have a seat before the chef started.Our waiter came and grabbed our order and I only got a water to drink with my food at the end of the night everyone gets a receipt for their drinks and he hands me a receipt that has a Mahi Tai on it and I let the waiter know this is incorrect I purchased my drink already at the bar. This is where the situation escalated because the waiter told me that is incorrect you bought a Mahi Tai and I told him that he was incorrect then he proceeded to continue to shove the receipt on me and tell me that I owed him for that drink that I did not consume even AFTER showing him my receipt from the bar and telling him to go check the cameras he continued to harass me over this tab and that’s when I had to get the manager that was dismissive and stated this was a simple “mistake” and I told him that it was not a simple mistake that his employee is falsely accusing me of purchasing something I did not. In the end the receipt was not mine but one of my co-workers and then the waiter proceeded to apologize to me and at the point I did not accept nor want his apology. I would not recommend this place to anyone after the harassment I received and if you do come and buy a drink at the bar make sure to keep your receipt if you go to the table with your drink!

I went here for vday. Staff extremely friendly and nice. The waiter was amazing & the chef was hilarious. He calls himself lil asia lol such a clown . Food amazingg !!! Definitely had s great time and experience since i walked thru the door. 10/10 !!!
