After listening to Billy Rizzardi's speech last night we need him in to take over. He made time for me after the CRA meeting. I knew of him, and everyone always says if you need help with your business you go to Billy.
It looks pretty cool, but it was dead, we went on a Sunday and summer season. We went to check out the skatepark and it is right behind it. They have a great vintage shop that was open. We are from Jacksonville Beach and do not have Season's so our shops are always open, especially on the weekend. But it seems on the East Coast we have 12 month and committed retail hours and then central to the West is "no business on Sunday" church day. I never quite understood...
I had the impression from advertising this place was cool and funky place with alot of artwork. When we went alot of shops were shut up and buildings damaged. Its sad because this area could be a thriving community and economic hub. As someone who enjoys art, I enjoyed the murals and artwork but its missing its community vibes.
