I’ve always loved this place, but I have to be honest, the matcha used to be so much better. Still a great coffee shop overall, just hoping the old matcha makes a comeback 🤍

I’ve been coming to this location for years. It’s had its ups and downs, but today was just a bad experience. I ordered a small drink, but since you’re out of small cups, I was automatically charged for a medium or large. Fine. I let that go. The barista repeated my order back to me, but when it was called out, it was completely wrong. They corrected it, but still, not a great start.

I also ordered food, just avocado toast. It’s simple, not a complicated order, and the café wasn’t busy. There were three baristas working, but I waited 10–12 minutes while other people came and went with their coffee and light food (pastry)orders. When I finally went back to the register to cancel, I saw that the barista who took my order was only just then starting to make the toast.

I explained I couldn’t wait any longer because I had an appointment. The cashier didn’t offer a refund, even though I specifically asked to cancel. In the end, I told her to just keep the money because I couldn’t stay.
DO BETTER…and enjoy the $8.50 avocado toast

Have always loved RedEye for coffee, matcha, and studying. I feel like recently my past few matchas haven't had much flavor. The salted caramel coconut latte is delicious though!!! I wish the Midtown location had the bottled to-go lattes like Cap Circle.

I’ve been coming here since the beginning of the summer and was really excited to finally use my points. In the past, the matcha was always perfect, but recently I’ve been very disappointed. I’m not sure if it’s because of the students returning and the shop being busier, or if the new baristas just haven’t been fully trained yet, but my last few drinks haven’t been made properly.

My most recent order tasted mostly like milk despite being a lavender vanilla matcha, and even though I asked for extra strawberry in the cold foam, it was very bland. The cashier was very sweet and kindly remade my drink, but even the second one still wasn’t right. I would’ve asked for it to be fixed again, but after waiting nearly 20 minutes I had to leave for my destination.

It’s frustrating because before, I honestly thought they were much better than Starbucks—but lately Starbucks has been more consistent, at least when it comes to matcha.

My daily coffee spot - the drinks and bakes are consistently yummy, quick and friendly service, and a great place to do work or just hang!☆ The carrot cake hot tea is special.

Stopped by real quick and I'm glad I did. I got Matcha with their homemade sage syrup and it was delicious. Their matcha was perfectly creamy and flavorful but not bitter and the syrup was amazing too! Great combination of earthy flavors! The inside was also a super cute cozy vibe perfect for studying. Definitely will be coming back!

Coffee and food quality made a strong comeback post-covid. Just so happens to be some of the best coffee in town and easy on your wallet compared to both local and chain competitors. Added bonus they offer goods on the Red Hills Farm Alliance.

Most importantly, the coffee is good. The service is also good. However, the location could use a little cleaning, lots of dust on the ceiling fixture and vents, tables and chairs are uncomfortable and worn. Floor could use refinishing. It could maybe use a little more decor and updating to feel like a coffee shop to hang out in.
