The food is terrible and has no resemblence of true Jamaican food. I should have known better being that I was the only patron. It took 30 minutes for my food and then it was completely cold. I got the jerk chicken. The rice was very crunchy and cold. The chicken was bland with no flavors at all. This was also cold to say the least. This pricing is expensive for the portion and quality of the food as well. Staff pretty much ignore you and act as though you are a bother to them and that you are being an inconvenience by being there.

I have had authentic Jamaican food, and this place is not it. I would not recommend anyone to eat here, but to rather stay away from here. There are better places to eat.

Curry goat was the most flavorful I've had in Tallahassee as far as spice. I do not mean heat so much as I do flavor from spices and seasonings although there was a little zip and scotch bonnet flavor. Most pieces were tender but one in particular was a chew-fest and I think it all could have used a little bit more time. Cabbage mix was cooked spot on of well past raw but nowhere near mushy and was very good with some vinegar. Rice and peas flavor was very good on its own but ate a little dry and I'd like them less seasoned but with more curry goat sauce texture wise. Beef n chicken patties were good, with nice scotch bonnet flavor but a little underfilled and pasty inside and I wonder what brand they use. I will definitely eat here again but will probably find someone to split my food with. Some people complained about prices of main dishes but I think the price for the curry goat was spot on for the quality and quantity of food. I do wish that half portions for maybe 2/3 the price were available, as I really did not need anywhere near that large of a portion and I think people would be more willing to try some of the main dishes.

The food is delicious! The jerk chicken is well seasoned and so tender, and the curry goat is also very delicious!

We ventured out to Reggae Rail, first time customers on Valentine’s Day. Excellent customer service. We ordered food to go. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Relaxed outdoor area. You can smell the food as you are walking up and you see the large steel pots outside, with food being cooked; authentic vibe! Then the flavors - authentic Jamaican cuisine!! I have been chasing this flavor since I visited Jamaica a few years ago. Peas and rice
perfectly seasoned, oxtails and plantains. Perfection! My husband wanted the brown chicken and I wanted the Oxtails so we went with the sampler. My only challenge with the Sampler is we paid $78, which is fine because the portion sizes are large and we will eat on this for a week. However, we received more rice than anything else. Small corner of cabbage, very few plantains, and limited oxtails. We basically paid for the brown and stew chicken and the rice. That is my only challenge and I would not order the sampler again, I would order the Individual meals. Otherwise, well worth it!!

The jerked chicken was old. This was the second time I've gotten some old chicken from this place. No more, I'm done with them. I want my food fresh.

I came Saturday around 6–7 p.m. My food was burnt and tasted burnt throughout the entire plate. On Sunday, I returned at 11 a.m., the posted opening time on Google and their website. I was told to come back at 12. I stayed. At 12, they said 15 more minutes. At 12:15, my food was still not ready. At 12:45, I asked the owner how much longer and was told to ask inside because my food should have been first. Other customers received their food before me, even though I had been there since 11. By 1 p.m., I still had no food. I asked for a beef patty due to the two-hour wait and was told no because it is a “hot commodity.” I was also told I could not receive plantains for my two hour wait, all items that are sides. Very unprofessional. Do not support this business.

First time and food was great. So many good flavors. We ordered the curry goat, Oxtail and the jerk chicken. We also had both beef and chicken patties. The rice and peas where cooked perfectly. Highly recommend and such a nice vibe outside

I’m from South Fla and so I’ve eaten at many Jamaican places and I actually can cook real Jamaican dishes.I was really disappointed when I got home and opened the box from Reggae Rail. For $18
I got 2 small legs and one thigh, a heaping pile of rice and peas and undercooked cabbage with no carrots. I seriously hope this is not their regular portion. I hate to say this BUT I must, seeing as I was the only white person there was that the reason for the extremely SMALL portion. The chicken was kind of dry and seemed old.
In So Fl plates always come with hard dough or festival bread.I think my jerk chicken is better. I jerk my chicken for 3-4 days and cook it with wood and charcoal.

The oxtail is verryyyy good. Best I’ve had in the city by FAR. Definitely expensive at $34, but it was a tasty platter nonetheless. Friendly service and food was ready quickly. 10/10 recommended.

Ordered here about 5 times now I usually get the 50 dollar platter which comes with like 3 oxtails so feel like there should be more or able to sub something out. Aside from that got two plates of oxtails cost about $76 dollar btw talk about expensive, but anyways each came with like 7 oxtails and full of rice for that price I need more oxtails so don’t eating here

All the food was salty, and the rice had a burnt taste. The plate was plentiful, and the smell of flavor and aroma had you convinced that you were about to throw down, but instead, it was thrown out! Thanks, though.
