Most of the time when I get shakes here they're really good. Today, however, I spent $9 on a smoothie because I'm lactose intolerant so I needed to sub plant protein and almond milk, and the smoothie literally tastes like straight pea protein and ice. It's supposed to be chocolate-covered strawberry which I get everytime, and the store was out of açaí so I subbed extra strawberries, and I literally taste nothing but protein. This has never happened before, but I can see it happening again, don't go here if you don't eat dairy its really difficult to accommodate it!
