I'm new to Tallahassee, but they made me feel at home. Oysters on the half shell were so fresh and wonderfully flavored! The delicious cocktail sauce was almost not needed, but I like my oyster liquor with a little kick!! Shucker was amazing. Very clean service, no shells in liquor and oysters just flowed onto my pallet!! A wonderful experience. I go back weekly to get my fix!!!

This is a wonderful local restaurant! I just recently found it. The crab claws are my favorite. My husband loves the raw oysters. The food has been hot and fresh! The service has always been great! The servers are so nice and happy.

Great food, but pricey for the amount you get. I got shrimp for lunch. Paid upwards of $15 but left hungry.

Even though shell oyster bar has really good food, their hours of operation are sketchy. They post that they're open until 5:00, but you don't know until you're on your way that they're closing because they have a catering event. What's really sad is that they can't host a catering event while at the same time keeping the the operation of the restaurant running. Sad business practices. I really truly hope that they will improve in the future.

10/10 I highly recommend! Yesterday me and my boyfriend ate here and let me tell you I am very particular about my catfish and I won't buy it just anywhere because not a lot of people cook it right. It can be soggy mushy and just plain ehh. BUT everything was made to PERFECTION! Not too heavily seasoned (IYKTYK too much seasoning can ruin good food) and I had to pay my respect to the chef on how good of a job hes doing back there and he said it's him and his grandson. Im ready for more already lol Stephanie was amazing as well as the other tall lady ! Great place of business I wish more people knew about it. The only downside is the options, there's not many but like my daddy always said it's better to find one thing and master it, than to be good at many things but not a master.
