10/10 I highly recommend! Yesterday me and my boyfriend ate here and let me tell you I am very particular about my catfish and I won't buy it just anywhere because not a lot of people cook it right. It can be soggy mushy and just plain ehh. BUT everything was made to PERFECTION! Not too heavily seasoned (IYKTYK too much seasoning can ruin good food) and I had to pay my respect to the chef on how good of a job hes doing back there and he said it's him and his grandson. Im ready for more already lol Stephanie was amazing as well as the other tall lady ! Great place of business I wish more people knew about it. The only downside is the options, there's not many but like my daddy always said it's better to find one thing and master it, than to be good at many things but not a master.

Heading to Mt. Dora, FL. My husband decided he wanted oysters for lunch... I picked well, oysters couldn't have been fresher! The onion rings were homemade and monstrous and the grouper sandwich was delicious.. I had a hard time putting it together for a sandwich, but I managed! We also hadan the bowl of crab claws, 12 bires but good. The place is definitely not fancy.... but everyone is friendly and the prices are great. Order a dozen oysters and they'll shuck them right in front of you! Don't forget to bring CASH!!!

I go to Shell Oyster bar once a week or pick up two pints of oysters a week the food is awesome in every way the service is amazing and the staff is awesome it beats any seafood restaurant around for sure it Tallahassee I have tried them all ! Tim Redding sr!

We drove 1 hour to get here we arrived at 3pm sign on door said "Closed' went in to inquire as there hours show till 5pm. They said the had a catering event this evening so they close early. This place is CASH ONLY. They said you should always call to check hours. We will not return.

This is literally a “hidden” jewel. i had my first oyster when i was a tiny boy and they had tall counters. this place is hands down, no questions asked best seafood restaurant in town or even all to the coast. the crab claws are heaven. honestly the grouper samwich is absurd! the hush puppies are dynamite. service is fast and bring cash!

Three for lunch. Two had fried oysters that were very good. One had fried shrimp which was also good. Batter kept falling off shrimp. All in all great lunch.
