I am only writing this to share my experience and in hopes that the lovely lady who owns it will make better choices.I went their in the this week and ordered Mullet. I was excited as that is one of my go to options for seafood, even out of season if fresh. Unfortunately it was not fresh at all and in fact was at least 3-4 days old. I am very picky about my seafood (clear eyes only at Mike's Seafood) and was hoping this nice Southside spot where Henry's used to be would do the trick. Not this time.Again the lady there was lovely and knew how to cook the fish but they took the risk and gave me old seafood. It wasn't quite spoiled but not far from it. Also the hush puppies were uneventful and not much flavor and gummy. Everything else was fine like the place itself.I ask that you make better choices and people will return. I will not be back until I know the food is better quality.I wish them the best.

This was my first time here. I had the mullet dinner and my husband had the catfish. It was made to order so it was fresh and hot when we got it. The clerk who took our order was friendlyand the owner came out to greet us.

This place is a little hidden gem and I love it!! Food is good and seasoned so well..The staff is great and very attentive..no cakes my last visit but they are usually really good cakes..
The food was excellent. The shrimp were fried to perfection with a thin and crispy batter. I especially appreciate that they let me add extra shrimp to the order.

I ordered a jumbo shrimp with fries and two hush puppies and a red velvet cake slice with a Coke through doordash. I received everything but the red velvet cake but in place of the cake I was given five shrimp and a small container. I have tried to call y'all several times today but no one answered no one will pick up poor service. The hush puppies with dry and hard but the shrimp was good in the tartar sauce was good. I know y'all are busy but let's be a little bit more professional and respond because when people pay their money for service they expect service let's be professional

NOSTALGIA tastes FINE. 4 stars out of 5 because the shrimp is acceptable and close enough to the Governor's Square Shrimp Pocket from the 1990s and 2000s: If they had a SAUCE option that was more mayo and tartar, I would get foots here weekly even if each single pocket cost me $10. That's how close they are to getting that former taste right.

It's a New place for me I've heard about the place from my coworker he's been and raved about the shrimp pocket and my sister and I swung by once and it was closed so tonight was the night that I found myself Actually going in and looking at the menu and ordering some of what they do and I'm estatic about the food we had I plan on getting back ova dare soon enjoyed the food
