If I could leave zero stars I would. 10/26/2024 around 7:30 PM I purchased a meal from slim chickens. I left the food in the bag, got home and showered and then took my food out the bag. On the top of the container my food was in there was a maggot. I took the food back to the restaurant and requested a refund. The cashier and other employees were smiling and laughing but that is not funny it is disgusting. I will never eat here again.

Our local slims have catered three events for me now and today we had lunch after church. They are a lovely crew that run our stores and I love their grilled chicken. I'm gluten-free free so their grilled chicken salad (no croutons or onions) has the best flavor. Chicken so good I don't need dressing! Definitely give them a visit soon

Food is excellent!! Think Chic Fil A, but even better food.
Traveling through Tallahassee and decided to stop at this store for lunch. The food was excellent but I was more impressed by the customer service. Every employee we dealt with was extremely friendly and we were checked on multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed for lunch. Will definitely stop again when we’re in the area.

Alright. I'm comparing this to zaxbys, bojangles, popeyes.
Slim comes in last. Why? The sauces. They are super bland. The slim sauce has NO flavor. The three chicken chains above are bursting with flavor. The chicken itself is fresh and good. I will give it that. But everything is bland man.
Your best off going to literally any other chicken chain. The building and atmosphere is nice, but for an establishment playing new Orleans jazz, I'd expect more flavor.
It's just bland folks.
