First time getting a steak burger at this location. Best I've had at any Sonny's anywhere. Asked for extra lettuce and tomato, and they loaded the box up. Got okra as the side and it was fantastic, fresh out, big, hot and crunchy (best I've had at any BBQ joint).

My husband had lunch today and he was going on-and-on about how impressed he was from start to finish at this location. He asked me to scan and give kudos, especially to the BEST servicer heโ€™s had in a looooong time. Her name is Shae, and she was everything youโ€™d want in a server. We hope she goes far with Sunnyโ€™s!

After nearly 30 years away from Sonnyโ€™s BBQโ€”yes, thirtyโ€”I found myself back at the Monroe Street location in Tallahasseeโ€ฆ and let me tell you, I was blown away.

I wonโ€™t go into the reasons I stopped going all those years ago, but letโ€™s just say it was enough to keep me away from any Sonnyโ€™s, anywhere. And Iโ€™ve been to a lotโ€”19 different locations spanning North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, back when Sonnyโ€™s was my go-to.
