If there was something less than 1 star that would be my rating. The burgers are paper thin, with holes through them and completely flavorless. This place has really gone down! And the new kiosk ordering machine asks if you want to leave a tip, for who? There is no service staff to tip!

Service was terrible. The workers spent more time playing around and talking to each other than helping customers. Had to wait too long just to get basic service. Definitely needs better management and attention to customers.

Road trip stop. My husband had fond memories of Steak N Steak as a kid visiting the location in Iowa City, IA. When we saw the sign, he said we had to get a shake! Horrible to non existent service. No welcome, Kiosk ordering, employee on her phone completed the experience by ignoring us. What I'm assuming was supposed to be ambiance music was loud and rapping of some sort you could not understand. Get this... the kiosk asks for a tip!!! HELLO! We order from the machine, we pay remotely, walk to the counter to pick up our shakes and scan the receipt for the soft drink machine to function. What exactly did you do to earn a tip? Maybe we're just getting old... tips used to be reserved for special services or going above and beyond your actual job duties. Finally got our shakes (in to go cups, even thoughwe were dining in). The employee yelled my name, sat them on the counter and walked away. Mediocre at best, half was thrown away it was that yummy delicious. Not the experience we had hoped for.

It was great going into this restaurant. It's unfortunate that many around the country have closed over the years. Great delicious juicy burgers.
I did the BBQ burger with onion rings, hubster had a double bacon and fries with a Reese Cup milk shake. The onion rings were the best, and we love the fries. The milkshake was the best. The burgers were okay... didn't seem as good as they have been in the past.
