I rarely leave negative reviews, but the service at this restaurant was truly disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. We waited an unusually long time for everything — drinks, food, even basic service like getting our order taken. Not once did anyone smile or show any effort to be polite. After saying “thank you,” we were met with silence — no “you’re welcome,” no acknowledgment at all.

To be fair, the food itself wasn’t bad. But the service was so poor that it completely ruined the experience. It felt like we were bothering the staff just by being there. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t return or recommend this place to anyone.

I've never been so disappointed eating at a restaurant. Never come to this place. Food is okay, but we hadto wait two hours for food. Two hours with horrible service and lacking customers. This is a horrendous excuse for a food establishment.

Food was okay, service was absolutely horrible. We waited outside for an hour, and in that hour they missed one of our drinks. Then they moved us inside, and we had to wait another hour for food after they took our order. This is a disappointment of an establishment, don’t waste two hours of your time for somewhat decent food. Disgusting.

Really good! I had the pollo arepas and it was very tasty, and a decent amount of food for the price (I couldn't finish it). I also got the churros and they were delicious and came with chocolate sauce! My one suggestion is that if you are taking it home, buy your own drink :) Parking is scary but the food was worth it.

I can’t recommend this place.

On September 23rd, 2023 a ceiling fan landed on my head from this place due to poor installment. This was no small or light fan, a large one in fact. I literally always had this fear that this would happen but thought I was paranoid. The glass shattered on me and cut my chest and hands (my hand lifted up to protect my face). I was lucky I was wearing a hat at the time to protect my face and eyes. Water from the ceiling and insulation got all over me though as well. I ended up getting ear infections for over 2 months after this, I think due to the insulation in my ear but I could be wrong (the ear pain didn’t go away with antibiotics).

The lady of course gave me free food, but offered little medical attention.

I tried to get them to pay my $400 medical bill, only the $400. I understand it’s a small business and I didn’t want to screw them over, but they screwed me over instead. When I called they claimed to not have any managers there and no owners either. No one took accountability, and I believe my number and my parent’s number was blocked.

I’m kind of sad that the world has come to this though, and I know i’m writing this two years later but I still have pain in my finger from being smacked by the fan. If I was them I would’ve paid the bill and been on my merry way, as that is literally the least you can do when a customer gets hurt due to a faulty installation.

I’m too nice for letting it go, so i’m spreading the word now. My parents had to pay the bill and it wasn’t fair and it was very mean.

Truly one of the best meals I've had in Tallahassee. Bandeja paisa was excellent. If you are looking for authentic Colombian food and good portions, El Rincon is the place.

Great food, great service, great value!

Best skirt steak I have ever eaten!!!! How anyone made that particular steak actually med-well is beyond my understanding. I was impressed beyond belief.
