Surcheros - Thomasville Rd. Tallahassee, FL

I visited because my friend told me they were much better than chipotle and moes. I was so greatly disappointed. I came in, asked about their menu (announcing it was my first time) the guy says, it’s just like chipotle. Okay fine, then they had a rice I was unfamiliar with, I asked what kind of rice was it for him to sigh and roll his eyes and say it’s seasoned rice. The next station the guy was just as disinterested and the girl at check out had the same attitude. Everyone in there acted like they were mad to be at work. Then when I got home and tried the food I was even more disappointed. It was bland and nowhere near as good as moes or chipotle and they were much more expensive. Insult to injury to the bad service I received. Definitely don’t recommend.

Stopped in last week and left before even ordering. Waited for 5 minutes while the employees talked with each other about personal matters and no one greeted us or offered to take our order. The food area looked absolutely disgusting and it looked like no one had cleaned the entire shift. Disappointing and won’t be back.

When this place opened it was fire, but they've fallen off fo sho. They stopped being friendly and they've gotten stingy with the meat portions. Still better than Moe's though.

The food was good but not great. I would have to be really in the mood to come back. It wasn’t bad but I don’t think this place would be something I’d crave. It was clean and the service was good.

Great food every time, fresh ingredients and good service, always beats moes and chipotle.

Its a little confusing your 1st time. To know what comes with what. But food was GOOD

I am a frequent customer of Surcheros and I am extremely disappointed with my experience here today. I asked an employee if it was possible to replace the tomatillo salsa. He returned after speaking with his manager and expressed that he was told “it was too busy to replace the salsa”.

1)There were only 4 customers in line who had all been serviced and were waiting to pay

2) There were over 5 hours left before close

3) I cant believe that this was the opinion of Management….

Do better. I will not be spending my dollars at this establishment!!

I got four tacos and no lime on it the worker on the meal before mine the worker squeezed lime all over his gloves and they were soaked and he didn’t change the glove and handled my tacos and all I could taste is lime. A waste of $22 for some tacos

If it were possible to leave no stars I would…..

We stopped to grab a bowl and burrito to go this evening. The employees were rude to say the least and I get it being close to closing time.

However we got home and discovered that they didn’t put the burrito in the box with the chips and the chips themselves honestly shouldn’t have been served to anyone.

We drove 15 mins across town to get Surcheros and it will be the last time I grace the doors.

Jared, a manager at Surcheros, gave me a great experience and a great burrito. He shows a true appreciation for good food and good service.

At the first station I was told they had NO grilled steak for my Loaded Bowl. I chose pork instead. Bowl was fine but I was STILL charged extra for the steak, like $3.00 extra. Also, my lunch mate got so.eone else's burrito, who puts black olives in a burrito. Usually enjoy Surcheros but you're only as good as your last meal...might have ben...

Great fast casual restaurant. Love their bowls!

I placed a catering order for a lunch we were hosting at my office. I first called the restaurant to ask a few questions and spoke with the manager, Sara Kate. She was so polite and helpful and answered all of my questions. She even gave me her cell to be able to communicate up until the day of delivery. About an hour before delivery, I found out we needed two more servings. I texted Sara Kate and she immediately responded with don't worry, we've got it covered. The food arrived on time. It was hot and fresh and delicious! Everyone enjoyed their lunch. I cannot recommend Surcheros enough! A+++++
