The rice is ALWAYS dry and flavorless. The staff today was horrible and had bad attitudes. I don't know what was wrong with them today, but there is no reason to have bad attitudes when there was no reason. We're just trying to get food and continue on with our classes/studying, I shouldn't have to see staff rolling their eyes at me. At least communicate properly what is wrong and don't give me an attitude. Do not go here if you're having a bad day because they will make it worse.

The food is cold, the portions are too small, and not all the options it says on the website are available. The employees are extremely rude, but this is more a reflection of the POOR MANAGEMENT. The manager is more worried about running at half capacity instead of making the entry process more efficient by stationing two people at the front when there’s a long line backed up to the door. Half the seats weren’t available and the manager is standing there yelling at students instead of realizing the place is too full to not open up seating. Not worth the meal plan!

Food was awful. Most of the dishes were not properly cooked and few were burnt. There is plenty of space to sit, for students, but the taste and maintenance is not at all good.Vegetarian options: There are few options for purely vegetarian/vegan people but the taste is soo bad, you would not like it.

Can’t beat municipal grade prison food. All you can eat!
Wat better than my university cafeteria. Their service and attention to food sensitivity and allergies than many restaurants I have seen. All you can eat of all varieties in a friendly clean environment. Meal plans are not economical, but eating with dining dollars makes way more affordable.Vegetarian options: Black bean burgers, salad bar and many cooked vegetables are available.Dietary restrictions: Students with allergies are given access to a clean room with foid guaranteed to be safe.

It's definitely a college dining hall, mostly freshmen and sophomores and a lot of on-campus residents. However, there are a lot of older students and staff members that eat there as well and you can also bring guests with you if you have guest passes on your FSU dining Plan or if they pay full price they can come eat with you at any time. So it's not just a bunch of youngsters. The food is very well balanced, and they offer a complete allergen-free menu that is prepared in a separate part of the kitchen so they don't accidentally mix it with any of the eight main known allergens. The desserts are good. The staff is fantastic. And if there's something that you want that they don't have, they accommodate you and are happy to make it for you within reason. I'm glad that I got a dining plan for at least one semester as a student at FSU. I am a mature student returning to college after 25 years out of school, but it's super convenient to be able to eat on campus before or after classes or even on the weekends at specific places. Make sure you are clear on where you can use your FSU card because it is limited to restaurants that are on campus and you can't use it at those same restaurants off of Campus. It is very pricey for convenience and, as always, convenience costs. All in all, it is a positive experience with a great student atmosphere and good balance meals. And I'm sure designed to make parents feel comfortable leaving their children at this college and going back home without them knowing that they are going to have decent meals while they are away from home and in school.Vegetarian options: There are always a large number of choices that are on the vegan menu and a lot of vegetarian choices as well with an unbelievably huge salad bar with everything you can possibly imagine there including several soups every day.Parking: Unless you are handicapped parking is not very easily accessible and you are going to have quite a hike to get to the dining hall. Please make sure you're ready to take a decent walking trip mostly uphill to the Suwannee room unless you park in the handicap parking spaces that are regularly checked by FSU police to ensure that only people with handicapped parking passes are parking there. Those that don't have handicap passes are ticketed and these tickets can keep you from graduating as well as registering for classes in future semesters if unpaid.Dietary restrictions: The fact that they have an allergen-free section which is prepared on the complete opposite side of the kitchen of the regular diets, this is to ensure that there is no accidental mix up of allergens in the allergy free food. I don't have food allergies but I'm sure this is a great reassurance for those that do.
