I absolutely love this spot. They now have indoor seating with AC! My black bean burger and the sweets were fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are great relative to most spots like this. Update: not sure what their hours are, but arrived at 6:45pm on a Wednesday and they're closed.

i’d loved this place for so long and had ignored some red flags once they were taken under a new company a few years ago, when they changed the menu to not include sides and began using so much plastic in their to go orders (which hinted at a lack of care that i’d once loved and is rare to find in a restaurant). but i wanted to support a local business that was doing what they had to do to stay open. then, it came out that staff is mistreated and their wages are withheld and the official social media pages purged the posts exposing the situation and turned off commenting until things eventually blew over and conveniently, at least to me, it looked like they got a loooooot of new employees after
come to find out, once again, staff pay is being withheld and some haven’t received hundred of dollars in paychecks. it looks like they’ve since deactivated their socials and unless they decide to cut their losses and finally close the doors bc they can’t seem to understand that they need to pay employees, there’s a chance they repeat the cycle and give it a few weeks before trying to continue like nothing happened. i’ve loved this place and its food for almost a decade and was happy it survived covid, but abusing staff and withholding wages is a line a business should never cross. it’s a loss for the vegan community in tallahassee, but it doesn’t come at the cost of exploited people who are just trying to make a living.
This place is awesome, the food is really good and the people are so friendly! They have a case full of the most delicious pastries. The food was literally too good to take pictures of 😭. Go eat here.

I was in Tallahassee for a few days and made a stop at Sweet Pea Café. Sammy greeted me with a warm, welcoming attitude and provided excellent service throughout my visit. I picked up the delicious Mexican wedding cookies and a cream pie—both were absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. A delightful experience all around.

Excellent service! All the employees are so friendly and kind and truly go above and beyond to make customers happy. Not only that, but the food was delicious-- would recommend the Sweet Pea Matcha and the Caesar Wrap. Love this place!

The gluten free tempeh Reuben was $15 after tax and wasn’t even pressed or cut, came like this. This place used to be so good, now it’s too expensive and apparently worse quality now. No side of course, that’d push you to $20

We always try to support vegan places while traveling. Stopped by here on our way through. Had the Rueben & Buffalo tofu with fries. The Rueben needed sauce, fyi the Buffalo is 6/10 spicy. Fries a bit soggy… and their bread doesn’t hold up to the types of sandwiches (bread matters)

I love their Reuben sandwich and they have the best desserts! A must go if in Tallahassee.
Very relaxed atmosphere with 100% vegan food. We had the bean burger and tempeh reuben. As you can see both are attractively presented. Both tasted terrific. Also come with really flavorful sauces for the burgers and entrees. The two "cakes" in the back are battered tofu that we also enjoyed.
What a treat!! Staying at a hotel and needed noms and this beautiful place popped up nearby. Drove the mile and ate til we were stuffed. Had the Reuben, salads, fries, hummus, and cupcakes. The folks were friendly and the food was 100% vegan yumminess!
I was visiting Tallahassee for the first time for a work trip, saw the reviews and knew I had to visit. I ordered the Big Mac and a slice of lavender cake. Both were so delicious. I wish I could have stayed to try the full menu.
This place is fantastic, everything is great (people, food, service). We would eat here all the time if we lived here. Everything we got was the best quality and so delicious.
