Just had Mongolian Beef from Tans the beef was like shoe leather and there was not one onion . Not good what ashame

Went to Tan's and everyone knows the owner is the nicest and most charismatic around. Seems though in the last couple of years they have taken a nose dive. Got Lo Mein and sesame chicken and both tasted like yesterday's food. Very greasy lo mein. On top of that got sick a day after eating. Not sure if its related or not. Diner beware...

The hand made egg rolls are incredible!

I purchased a quart of hot and sour soup and it is very bland, and I'm so disappointed about it...it wasn't spicy nor was it even tangy...just gelatinous water with veggies.

The house special lo mein was also very underwhelming...the noodles were dry and had a peculiar taste to them I cannot place, and they looked like they'd been sitting out for a while..

The customer service was great, and the food other than egg rolls was awful...the place smelled really strong of mothballs....????

Wow, can't believe it. An authentic Indonesian place in Tallahassee. We didn't realize it's take out only, so we just bought whatever they had there ready to eat. Rice with chicken, egg and noodles. And scallion pancake. Just delicious. Proper Indonesian street food. Will be back soon. Super friendly owner.

Great little take out i Tallahassee. The lady owner is very friendly and the food was great. The
pork fried rice came with large slices of bbq pork. Next time Im in Tallahassee, I will be stopping by and have some other dishes.

Sesame chicken had no sesame seeds, honey chicken was obviously old chicken, chicken on a stick was dry and hard as a rock. They have become a terrible place to get food. Try literally anywhere else because for the money, it's not worth it. Never again

Spend like $33. I’ve been to many Chinese Food from NYC, VA, and California. The food was terrible, plain. Steamed dumplings and beef with mushroom have barely flavor. Sesame Chicken tastes like orange chicken. Yes, it was cheap but damn been to many chinese restaurants and it’s cheap as well but the quality of the food is at least 3.5 to 4.5 stars. This one is like 1.

Door dash wasn't the problem tonight. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, veggies, and vegetable fried rice (it had more rice than veggies). I didn't want it as a meal, but as separate orders, with no white rice. I wasn't given an option to upgrade for a different rice, white rice only, so the veggie rice was additional ($12). The online experience wasn't great, but the food is always good.

This place used to be good. Sucked the last few times I tried and my friends agree. But cutting back on the quality of the food they used to deliver and jacking up prices will never bring me back. Go to J’s Asian street food on Tennesse street.

I love Tan’s Cafe!! The Pork Egg Rolls are superb with no sauce needed. The brown gravy sauce is soulful to my tummy. I can put that on anything!! The Wonton Soup is soothing and great comfort soup. I can go on and on about this place. You just have to try it for yourself. Tell the lady at the register Jackson sent you. I love her and when I call, she knows exactly what I want. I may not eat there for a whole month; but when I call it’s just like I haven’t missed a beat.

Parking: Plenty of free parking. No dine in seating. Call in orders is best!

This is my favorite Chinese food in town. I love their indonesian options as well. The nasi goreng is sooooo good.
