The biscuit and gravy was not the best I ever had. The potatoes and eggs were great. Also note 1.00 surcharge for eggs per meal.

I was looking forward to trying The Egg Cafe and Eatery, but unfortunately, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth—literally and financially. While the food was adequate, the pricing and hidden fees make it clear that profit margin comes at the customer’s expense.

One major issue is the 4% fee for using a credit card. This charge is barely mentioned, hidden in tiny font on the menu, and significantly higher than the roughly 2% banks charge businesses. If they’re going to pass the cost onto customers, they should at least be upfront about it.

Then there’s the outrageous price for a simple drink. $3.50 for a glass of tea is already excessive, but to be told they “ran out” of unsweetened tea and that water was the only alternative? That’s just poor management and bad service.

In the end, the meal itself was fine—nothing special, nothing worth returning for, especially with these kinds of policies. There are plenty of other places that offer decent food without the sneaky fees and overpriced drinks. Won’t be back.

Nice atmosphere. Good range of selections not just egg based.

The atmosphere is nice but I think it would be more inviting with more decor & of an eclectic style.

Parking: The restaurant is actually a bit difficult to find as it is inside a building on the second floor. It would be helpful if there were directional signage, such as an easel.

cheap, delicious food with such polite staff. my only complaint is there is very limited seating so the wait can be long.

I got the cinnamon French toast, wasn’t even warm and felt pretty hard to chew. I got eggs and the eggs were really greasy. I also had cheese grits which I finished compared to the others. What really annoyed me was my server while I was still eating gave me my check without waiting for me to finish and was trying to push me out before the lunch hour since I was alone. I also watched when of the male servers be incredibly rude to my server and speaking condescendingly to her every time the interacted. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience and I won’t be back

It's ok. Lazy fare at best dressed up as a top notch breakfast location. Service is so-so; everytime I've been it's been slow and servers spend more time checking phones or chatting by the bar than following up on table service. Food is pricey for what is prepared and there's far better, and better priced, breakfast options to be had in town. It's not the worst and in a great location. Don't plan on returning.

Horrible experience staff was rude due to their store closing at 2pm. We waited 20 minutes to be seated to be greeted with a " tables are dirty" from a raspy voice attendant. Maybe close the doors at 1 pm if you don't want people coming in close to your closing time.

Don’t eat here, eddy the manger was so disrespectful. He wouldn’t let us take the food back because my friend was allergic to it. Then he was trying to be funny and say we can take it to go.

I enjoyed my food, although service was a bit lackluster. I had the potato skillet with sausage, broccoli, and onions. It was cooked well and tasty. I did not care for the coffee. Overall, I would visit this location again in the future.
