I ordered the bayo cakes and the surfNTurf and they both tasted bad. Next day I felt sick. I complained to the owner and got no response. I would never eat here, terrible food and customer service.

Our waiter was Nathan and he did not provide quality service. he rushed our entire service and meal. He would come to the table and ask us if we needed anything and leave before we could answer him. He was moving so fast that he hit my sister in her face with a plate on accident although he apologized had he slowed down it wouldn’t have happened in the first place. We told him that he needed to slow down and asked him if he was OK and he apologized although it didn’t seem genuine in my opinion because he still continued to rush us.

My class wanted to reunite for a breakfast or brunch next month. I was in charge of checking out this place. There were signage out so that anyone can find the place. I had a VERY difficult time trying to find the place. Never did NOT actually see the place at all - but my GPS said you have arrived. I drove around 2 or 3 times and I still could not located the place - but I knew it was it the area. The area is very congested.Let’s NOT discuss trying to find a park downtown. I could not even park anywhere to walk around to find the place. This place is downtown at the state capitol- so it mainly cater to the state, city and construction workers downtown. I am sure they do pretty well.So we had to pass.

Do not go here. I went inside and ordered 2 to go orders of eggs benedict, $34 for both plus automatic gratuity for a to go order totaling $37.19. Fine, I’m hungry and I have to be on the road soon. I don’t mind paying for a good breakfast for us before our trip. Opened the container as soon as I got in my car, first off there’s barely any potatoes in one of the orders. For $37.19 really?? The ham is thin and not even large enough to cover two English muffins. They just slopped this order together. The worst part was that the eggs were hard boiled. It was hard boiled old eggs on an eggs benedict for BOTH of my to go containers. One of the eggs still had raw egg whites underneath. Mind you I immediately opened it right after receiving my order and sat in my car. Terrible. Awful. It was like they didn’t even want me to order 2 orders. When I asked for 2 orders to go they initially asked if I was sure I wanted 2 orders because “It would take a while to make 2 orders, it’ll take 15-20 mins”. Which I was ok with, I waited patiently for my food only to be disappointed as soon as I got in my car and opened it. Terribly put together. Awful service questioning me if I really want 2 orders because it’ll take too long. Do not go here. They don’t want your business or to serve you. I went in for a refund and returned the food. Drive to the other egg cafe that’s 10 mins away. Go to the other egg cafe on Austin Davis Ave. They are WAY BETTER. Worth the price when done right.

We had winter breakfast here, great ambience, super cordial service, excellent food preparation with quality ingredients. A must visit in town. It will surely uplift your morning mood. There are plenty of seating arrangements so groups as well as individual capacities are well managed.

The shrimp & grits skillet is delicious. The shrimp are small with any dish, thats the only downside. The bread served with my dish was ? and probably my favorite of the dish. The tropical mimosas are a must have. Very cute restaurant in a nice location. I will definitely come back on my next trip down.
