This place is wonderful.. Steve,Jody and his staff welcome everyone in and create a nice comfortble atmosphere. Good beer & drink selections. Friendly and fun place with good food.

Awesome service from waitress outside. Great desserts. Got the grouper sandwich. It was the real deal. Definitely the type of owner i prefer to spend money with instead of a chain.

Stopped in after the football game for a victory meal, and I’m so glad we chose The Getaway. We were greeted right away, and the hospitality was top-notch from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing — everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
