One of the best bistro I have ever been. The price for the delicious food was very cheap. The food is to die for. The service is with a smile and let me tell you about the food!!!!!! OMG! Best in Tally! Please don’t forget or even pass on their pies.😍😍😍😍😍 if you don’t try it this place you will greatly regret it!

I've never had a bad sandwich at this location! The bread is fresh, non-filling, and they select the best option for every sandwich. I had the Italian today with a lemon scone and it did not disappoint. It is hands down the best Italian sandwich I've ever had. A little pricey, but worth it.
Parking is not too difficult but, if you go on a weekend, it gets pretty crowded.

Lovely shop with great breakfast and lunch options. The deserts are always delicious and creamy, and the sandwiches are savory. I appreciate the staff doing their best during busy weekends and have never had a problem with customer service. Fully recommend the lavender cookie, the raspberry cream cake, and the blood orange tart in this picture.

Avocado toast was excellent, farm house quiche was also very good the staff is laid back but extremely attentive and the atmosphere encourages laughter and light brunch topics.. the food didn’t last long enough for a photo but next time I’ll be faster with the thumbs and slower with the fork.

I come here frequently and am always happy that I do. I just went today and the food was as solid as always. The front of house staff, in particular Karly and Kaia, were very welcoming, accommodating, and made me feel as if my presence was a joy instead of just another tip. I love this place and hope it gets even more popular than it already is. Also the Japanese milk bread is the best I've had outside of Japan.

Our first time at Hawthorn. In previous weeks we had purchased their ciabatta from the local Co-op, not knowing the cafe existed! So pleased we found it. Relaxed easy dining. Great lunch and atmosphere and kind and considerate staff. We ordered the handheld pies and green side salad. The latter was generous - we could have shared it between the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed it all.

I was visiting from California and decided to try Hawthorn Bakery and Bistro for breakfast, and I'm so glad I did. The French toast was absolutely freaking delicious, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, just perfect

I enjoyed it so much that I went back again for lunch the next day. Not only was the food consistently amazing but the service was also top notch. We were helped by Carly, who was warm, attentive, and genuinely made the whole experience even better. Being in the sales and service industry myself this is so important for me. She was a total gem and added such a thoughtful touch to our visit.

If you're anywhere near this spot, do yourself a favor and go. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

I arrived at 11:30. I waited in the Order Here line for nearly 10 minutes before I could place my order because the only one person taking orders was also operating the toaster oven for people ahead of me.

My $$ Hawthorne Club Sandwich, was exactly that...no sides like chips and pickles were even offered. Fortunately the sandwich was very good.

While eating, the music seemed to gradually get louder and louder...to the point my meal companions had a very hard time carrying on a conversation.

This is a MUST see/experience. We were visiting from Kansas City and adored the food service and especially the bread!

Great sandwiches and bread! Our favorites are the Italian and the Reuben. The focaccia and ciabatta are excellent and reheat well at home. Also, the Cranberry Sweet Potato salad converted me from my previous dislike of sweet potatoes.

I went to Hawthorn Bistro for breakfast and tried a few things: the scone of the week (lemon poppyseed), the classic breakfast sandwich on brioche, and the beef hash. The lemon poppyseed scone was definitely the highlight — soft, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. The sandwich and hash were okay, but I asked for my eggs over easy and the yolk came out fully cooked, which was a letdown.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, perfect for a relaxed breakfast or coffee hangout.

I’d love to come back and try their lunch menu, but as for breakfast, I’m not sure I’d give it another go. Still, it’s a lovely spot with great service and a lot of potential.
