I would've given 5 stars, but the waiter was wearing a hoodie, with the hood on, plus ear pieces, music? The waiter was not encouraging or enthusiastic about being there. Our fried onion appetizer came after some of us got our salads. My husband finally got his plate after the rest of us (5 people) had finished eating. Food was good. Not service.
Went for my birthday dinner and they were out of mullet, flounder, popcorn shrimp and crab cakes. New waitress spilled entire glass of iced tea on my husband. 1/2 grouper plate with fried grouper, 4 shrimp, 4 oysters and 4 scallops. All were very tasty.

The classic Southern fried seafood restaurant. Don't come here looking for anything fancy, not even as fancy as oysters on the halfshell. Come here for fried comfort food done right. I now live in Dallas but am from Tallahassee and absolutely love fried seafood of all kinds.
