The Palace Saloon

Lived in the apartments next to this place when I was in college back in 1998, but never came in. Fast forward to 2025. Great atmosphere, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Pool tables are $2 a game, but the beer is cold. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, and a great place to watch a game.

Smoky beer joint, no coverings on the floor ( bare concrete ) worn out pool sticks, expensive bottle beer $4.75 and pool tables $2.00. Skip this one unless you are a smoker and good with worn out pool sticks.

The best bar in Tallahassee. All the bartenders are very friendly. The sake Red Bull pitchers are the best

You can have the newer bars in college town. This is where I love to go and hang with my adult children when I'm visiting. This is my kind of place. No it won't be clean. No it won't be new. But the people are so genuine and conversation is made.
