First time there, the front counter staff made it feel like I was intruding and I should know how everything flows. The last time I went there (my second time) it was 30 minutes before closing and I was told that I wouldn’t be seated and would have to do take out only (so I left and went Gaines Street Pies for the first time and had their vegan pizza instead and fell in love with that place). Two strikes in a row, I’m done trying to eat here when I come to Tallahassee from 2 hours away for other things, there are more friendly and accommodating options.

Disappointed, that no one answers the phone during normal business hours, and the website is not updated to show the vegan menu. Also there is no way to tell that when ordering online Social Vegan is no longer taking orders.In addition, if you make an online order they make no attempts to issue refunds.So in other words, they give the false impression of being open and are stealing customers money by allowing online ordering. Not quite sure if they're under new management, but they totally lack professionalism, empathy and customer centric focus

I ordered my food online and when I arrived I was told by employees that I had never seen before that the hours are changed and they are not serving vegan food until the new cooks are trained😂😂😂 I wrote their names and personal numbers down but I lost the ORANGE sticky note from the supposedly store manager that was supposed to refund my money. I checked my account and the transaction was not refunded. This black owned business will not fully thrive while having employees sabotaging their business that’s INVOLVED in a not so hidden agenda. It was only $35.46 but please don’t hide your wrongdoing that you do against your customers. Gangstalking is rapidly growing.

I usually order the mushrooms which are amazing! But I placed and paid my order online and headed to pick on my lunch break amd I arrive and it's closed. I tried calling and canceling the transaction but they processed it and aren't even open!!! I miss this place and would love have my mushrooms so I can update this review. It's been months and I still haven't been refunded for my order or been contacted by anyone else.

We stopped in for lunch, and the food was too tantalizing to remember to take photos. The service/staff was excellent. We ordered a half portion of buffalo cauliflower, the vegan Philly chick'n & cheese and the vegan quesadilla. Everything was well seasoned/delicious with perfect texture etc.

One of the best vegan spots in town, but unfortunately reduced their vegan choices to 1/3 of the menu during the revamp. I saw on instagram a flyer for a recent Easter Brunch - not a single vegan item on the menu. I can’t be mad at the revamp and their efforts to expand the menu, but they let go of some fan favorites like the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and Chicken & Waffles that you simply can’t find at other vegan spots in town. Plus, depending on what ordering website you look on, these menu items look like they’re still available and orderable. Wishing you guys the best of luck in your recent changes! Loved your unique menu items & when Slutty Vegan came through. Will be following socials and be on the lookout for updates. ❤️

Waited an hour for chicken wings and my husband vegan burger. Our kids already got their chicken tenders and finished eating. Ended up leaving without having our food.

My friend ordered here and thought something seemed off. My friend called and asked them casually and they said they changed their menu and that it isn’t fully vegan anymore. They haven’t updated their DoorDash to reflect the new name “the SV lounge”, so by calling it social vegan on DoorDash still makes it seem like everything is still vegan. Maybe it’s more clear in person but still.. Very sneaky!!!

The food was really wonderful, flavorful, and of great selection. Unfortunately, this place is NOT EXCLUSIVELY VEGAN even tho it is stated everywhere on their site and even in their name. There is a non vegan menu where they serve lamb, cow, pig, and chicken. This is very disappointing as they proclaim to be about the planet and the animals. When a friend, who we came with, went originally, the restaurant was fully vegan, be forewarned this is no longer the case.
Dietary restrictions: Has Vegan options but also has animal based products.
