An authentic Tallahassee's heritage, you can see from all the writings on the wall dating back as far as to the 80s. Excellent foods, excellent Espresso, excellent ambience, owner is a really hospitable and friendly man.. You get a lot for what you paid for.highly recommended place to visit, for breakfast, lunch, or just to hang out!Parking: Parking is a bit tricky on weekdays (but there is plenty of space available within 10 minutes walk) but is free on weekendsKid-friendliness: Kids love the foods and are intrigued by the writings

This is the absolute worst place I have ever been to. I ordered a wrap with chicken and it was the most inedible thing that I have ever eaten. The chicken was literally raw and cold. I tried to go up to the owner and he completely ignored me saying “get out of my face I don’t care you can throw it out and I’m not giving you your money back” He wouldn’t even listen my concerns that he was literally serving RAW CHICKEN. He treated me with such disgust I will never go back to this establishment ever again, especially because he didn’t even try to make it right by making me a new wrap or giving me my money back. The owner of this shop has no regard for other people just stand in line and you’ll see. I don’t know how they have customers maybe because they are the only local cafe/coffee shop near a big university with 45k students.

Visited for the first time today with my daughter & the owner was very kind to us! Customer service was excellent! I had a lamb gyro, my daughter demolished her chocolate cupcake and she shared (a little bit) with me. I’m sure my oldest daughter will enjoy her cheesecake too! ?Side note, I saw low reviews about negative service here. In Japan there’s a restaurant that specializes in providing their patrons bad service and people pay top dollar to experience it. Check it out on YouTube…I’m not suggesting this for this place of business, just saying if it’s true, that kind of vibe might be something the students/community could embrace and flip it to a positive. Seriously life is too short, change your perspective, have some fun, and enjoy every moment even if it seems negative. The choice is completely yours. ??‍♀️?❤️

We had lunch here while my sister visited FSU. The mango pineapple smoothie I had was fantastic. I also enjoyed the Caprese croissant, but I wished it had more basil. My sister had a hummus wrap with tzatziki instead of hummus and a vanilla boba tea. The boba isn't traditional, so you may want to tread lightly if you love large traditional tapioca pearls. There were jelly cubes and multi colored pearls which she wasn't expecting. It was really busy but the staff called out orders pretty quickly. We will definitely be back if she chooses to attend FSU.

I've been meaning to come in for a while since this is a storied part of FSU history that has been open since 1922. It has a nice vibe as a comfortable hangout for students, who filled the indoor tables. Ordering was a challenge. It requires self checkout and has a complicated user interface. I figured out how to order a lamb gyro but could not find soft drinks. I gave up because students were talking about needing my screen after accidentally logging off the other one. I just wanted a gyro man I don't need this kind of pressure! I ate the gyro at one of the half-dozen tables outside. It was decent. There are a small number of pay parking spaces next to the building on Jefferson Street that require an app to use.

Owner is an unprofessional child. Which is even more clearly evident if you take time to look at his responses to bad reviews. He will also probably reply “liar liar” or “no outside food or drink” to this post, even though that has nothing to do with my review. I wish him nothing but the least amount of business possible and karma for treating people so awfully.

I had a bad experience , got treated badly by the manager/worker for having a Starbucks cup. Unacceptable to treat customers in that manner.

This is the worst Cafe you could come to in Tallahassee, Florida. This Indian man built like a whole burger thinks he could yell at his customers and serve them "the best food" you could think of. On top of that, you go on these reviews and he tries to make some comebacks that he found off Baddie Comebacks 202. Don't start with the "who asked" and "I did not" as I know this occurred because I am a victim. Let me know when this old hag loosens up and loses weight. Instead of counting all that money from those white girls, you should count those belly rolls you pig. xoxo lyy pookie??

This place actually sucks, the food was terrible as there was a small piece of plastic in my eggs, and when I asked for a new plate they said “no that’s not my problem” WORST place in florida.

The food here is ok at best, it takes a long time to get your food because there's only a few people working. The owner is awful. He is rude and extremely impatient. He yells out your number and will belittle you if you don't immediately grab your food, even if you are just walking from your table.

I came here early in the morning a few days ago for a panini and a cup of coffee and they were both good. The employees were very nice to me! It was my first time visiting the Sweet Shop :)
