The food? Meh. Slightly overpriced for what it is quesadillas and queso with no salsa? Just hot sauce? đ¤ Like, come on, salsa is the BeyoncĂŠ of Tex-Mex sides, and youâre giving me just the backup dancers?
That said, the blackened chicken was solid juicy, flavorful, and the one saving grace of my plate. đ⨠The atmosphere? Just okay. Nothing that screams, âStay and vibe,â but it wasnât terrible either.
Would I return? Probably not, unless Taco Tuesday is your religion, in which case, you might find it worth a shot. đŽ But overall? Itâs giving âone and done.â đ

We had a great time at Tijuana Flats in Tallahassee! The staff was awesome - we even met one of the cooks there that made our dinner, his name was Billy. What a great young man, and one hell of a cook. The steak tacos he made us were amazing. The next time you're there placing your order, tell them to please have Billy cook it - you won't be disappointed!

We order from here a good bit. We are a business in the area and love their food. Today was a sad day. We picked up the first time and our large order was incomplete... after asking multiple times if this was all of our order. Only chips and taco shells in a lot of bags so it looked like a lot. Got back to our office and realized the error. Called and went back for the rest of our order. Got to the office 45 min into our lunch hour to feed 40 people. 10 minutes later someone showed up with more food that was again forgottern. Not sure we even got an appology.

Extremely disappointed today. Came in during my lunch hour. My wife and I explained âNO ONIONSâ deathly allergic. We drove back to work with our food to find out there was onions. Then drove all the way back and explained we wanted a refund and we were told they could replace our already late meal. He said â2 minutesâ roughly 10 later we got our burritos rushed to work knowing weâll get a write up and the rice on this is the saltiest bite and the worst. BEYOND upset and will never visit this location again

It wasnât the best. The restaurant smelled like sewage for some reason. The service was great and fast! The food itself wasnât seasoned, and overall not tasty. The churros seemed like they were frozen then thrown in a frier, and were saturated with oil.
We finally made it to happy hour! There were about 10 choices for the happy hour menu. Food was great, and appetizers were fast....my kiddos were grateful, and so was I. Recommend for families. However, the decor may be a little scary for the young kiddos. I totally saw a kiddo crying after walking in and catching a glimpse of the wall murals. After some consoling, I'm sure they enjoyed the meal as well.

Fantastic chalupas! And the enchiladas w/chili rellenos was very Good! Overall I enjoyed the outing. The atmosphere could have been a LITTLE more festive, and it seemed as though the wait staff was a little hectic, though they werenât THAT busy. Overall, I would recommend it for a quick taste of spicy!

As always, a pleasure to be able to visit. Despite a series of dangerous storms, Tijuana Flats was able to set up stoves and provide good food ? and fresh food to hungry wet customers between the dangerous Springtime rainstorms that rolled through Tallahassee this past Mother's Day weekend.

Parking: Tijuana Flats is in the east end corner of a large outdoor shopping center. Plenty of parking between Good Will book store and other shops and office and Big Lots ..
