I had a great experience at Tijuana Flats, and a big part of that was the general manager, Jamal. You can instantly tell how much pride he takes in his store. Even though the lunch rush had just wrapped up, the restaurant was spotless and well organized. The hot sauce bar was fully stocked and clean—clearly not an afterthought. Jamal’s attitude is admirable and his smile is contagious. He sets the tone for the entire place. The food is consistently good, and Jamal’s leadership and attitude make the experience even better.

Conversation of college classes and discussion with professor between employees in the back was more important than someone coming to the counter and taking my order. Finally gave up and went to Chick Fil A.

I came in for lunch around 3:30 PM, and the place was literally empty. Jamal took my order, but he seemed tired and made me feel like he was doing me a favor by taking it. He wasn’t friendly at all, and at a certain point it felt like he was giving me attitude simply because I wanted to order additional items.
The food itself was good, but unfortunately the service was very poor and really affected the overall experience.

Came in to get lunch, when I walked in the girl at the front on her phone immediately went to the bathroom, I waited about 10 minutes for her to come out so I could order food and she never came back out so I shouted out hello twice to the back so maybe someone in the kitchen would come out to take my order but no one ever did..terrible staff.

I'm sorry to say This was me and my son's favorite place in Tallahassee 10+ years. He was two years old, this was his first. Taco we celebrated 6 years of birthdays for him here at this place. The last 4 times I've eaten here. In the past 6 months the food has gone downhill you show up for taco Tuesday. You get busted tacos, cheese that is hard as a rock and cold refried beans. That has a copper metal taste It hurts me to say this, but take your business elsewhere

Food was great but ai see they made some changes to the menu. I ordered flaunts but it came with less goodies and cost more. I understand the cost of things going up I still paid more for less. No guac salad jalapeño onions just made it come together.
