Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I ordered 2 items through delivery via the app, and wanted to add strawberries on my PB banana crunch flatbread, but it wasn’t an option in the app(there’s an option to substitute bananas for strawberries, but I wanted both bananas and strawberries so this was not a solution for me). I tried calling the store before I placed my order to see if I could possibly add a side of strawberries or just request them to be added onto my flatbread. The phone was disconnected so I was unable to reach anyone. I called a sister location and they said this happens often at the Ocala location.
I asked my delivery driver to request the strawberries for me when they arrived to the store and they were told no, because breakfast items don’t come with sides.
The strawberries are not a major issue, because my items were still good, I just wish I would’ve been able to contact the store prior to placing my order so I knew what options were available to me.

If Tropical Smoothie had an MVP award, Jessica would win it every single time. I don’t know what kind of smoothie magic she’s working with, but every visit she turns an ordinary stop into a five-star experience. She’s like sunshine in human form — greeting everyone with a genuine smile, lightning-fast service, and the kind of positive vibe that instantly boosts your day.

Jessica doesn’t just make smoothies, she makes moments. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, she makes you feel like the most important person in the room. Need a recommendation? She’s got you. Complicated order? Nailed it. In a bad mood? Not anymore.

Honestly, if I could bottle up her energy and positivity, I’d sell it and retire early. Tropical Smoothie is lucky to have her — and so are we!

The girl at the front counter was incredibly rude. I'm not sure if she's a new employee as I did not recognize her. When I ordered from this rude girl, I explained I have a very serious pineapple allergy. She did not notify the workers who were making my order. I do not know if she did it intentionally or not. But I did NOT appreciate the emergency trip to the ER when my throat swelled up. Will not be visiting this particular location ever again. It felt like the rude girl tried to kill me.

If you can go to any other tropical smoothie in Tallahassee please do, it will save you from disappointment. Ordered online and had my boyfriend pick up on his way home. A piece of my quesadilla was missing, there were only 3 pieces when I’ve always been given 4. Was also a literal mess, everything that should have been inside the quesadilla was thrown around the takeout box. I have never received something so horrible and inedible from tropical smoothie. I will never order from this location again.

Jazz spelled my name wrong

The girl at the counter has no customer service skills at all. She is rude. She will stand up there and not greet you or say anything and just look at you. I don’t know what kind of customer service she’s providing, but it’s not good at all. it’s like she got a chip on her shoulder or she’s upset about something. I’m just a customer. I’m not doing anything but coming to buy something to eat Today is April 19, 2025 at 5:00 PM

To the person name Ryder whom just hacked my rewards account and used it in Florida while I was saving them to use for my sons here in Alabama. I hope you get what you deserve and also have the life you deserve, it won’t be good. I hope that this tropical smoothie along with others start checking when redeeming rewards for regular customers. Unacceptable to be honest and my local tropical smoothie may have lost me as a customer. So TS do better with your rewards program.

Recently got a acai bowl on the app and I put in the instructions I didn’t want coconut and switched out bananas for mangos. Got it how it comes with lots of coconut and bananas (with barely any honey)

this tropical smoothie is probably THE WORSE one in Tallahassee. The workers are always on their phones and one worker literally was in pajamas and a bonnet. I placed an order for a smoothie and I was the only one in there and 1 guy looked at the screen and walked outside, then the other two guys just sat on their phones.

EASILY the most pleasant, efficient, and consistent of the 3 locations I frequent. Total bonus that the Ocala Rd. smoothies are $1 less than the other locations!

I ordered a smoothie and wrap combo, this is the same wrap and smoothie combo that I order frequently from the tropical smoothie by my house and when I say this was by far one of the worst wraps and smoothies I have gotten it’s not an understatement. My smoothie was missing ingredients and so was the wrap. I tried to call the store about 5-6 times with absolutely no answer. I hate leaving negative reviews but at some point it’s the only option when you can’t get anyone to answer a phone. I’ll be ordering from a different location moving forward.

One of the worst experiences I ever had with tropical cafe . I order on door dash on 1/05/24 around 5:00 pm . Who ever is working that night shift sucks. Watery smoothie . Food is completely a mess , watery and falling apart from a chicken creaser wrap. Another time I came to get a veggie wrap the whole staff said they didn’t know how to make it . Terrible service. I don’t know what’s up with this location.
