First time at Urban Food Market and chose to eat at Digia Pasta, who encompasses a new concept for by letting you build your own pasta dish, starting with freshly made pasta. You then pick your own veggies, proteins, sauce and cheese. Everything is cooked fresh in front of you and in a timely manner! Pair your meal with a glass of wine and you will feel as though you are in Italy! The food was superb, the staff was fantastic and the price was more than reasonable, especially considering the amount of food we got. It was fun and delicious!! I plan on returning soon and also plan to bring my next out of state family members as they visit!

If there's one thing I love more than good food it would be good people. The +39 restaurant located in the food market has some of the friendliest and courteous staff ever -a quick shout out to the servers, Lexi and Javier as they are always so kind and I want everyone to know how amazing they are. One would be so lucky to have met those two. Growing up around small businesses mean I understand that it's the people that one hires that make all the difference. Plus (get it?... +39...couldn't resist the pun), the atmosphere is incredibly calming yet sophisticated, which is nice for someone like me that easily gets overwhelmed in dark, loud, and stuffy restaurants. Food is awesome too. What more can you ask for?

Very difficult to locate and I have lived in this area for over 30 years. Website should have said Urban Food Market is located in the old Tallahassee Mall, next to Guitar Center. This would have made for a less stressful experience. Also very confused about how to order and where to order. Apparently this is somewhat of a food court with a few individual restaurants.

There about 7 different doors to get into this place but only one works, and once I was able to get into the building they only had one area open (nothing like the reviews I saw online where there is multiple stations with different foods). It was super confusing, and after reading the menus online I was excited to try it but all that was offered was pizza and pasta. Perhaps I came at a bad time or a day when only one thing was open but there were no signs stating otherwise, or signs on doors pointing you in the direction of the elusive door that actually opens.

This place is pretty cool! Wide open layout with multiple food stations. A bit pricey for what you get, but the food is good!

I think these are the most racist Italians in history. I used to work here, my husband as well, we were under paid and not appreciated. I love my manager Ryan, yet he had no control. If he did we would have got paid more and we would have still worked there. The food is good, but expensive. Idk how it is now, but I wouldn't support them nor recommend them to anyone especially of color

Pizza guys were great and so was the food. Pasta station had a cook that was complaining about his 3rd 12 hour shift. His poor attitude spread on to his customers. Food was good but he made me want to avoid that experience again.

They had double booked the private room, so when we showed up they put us near to the back exit. Said they would dedicate a server to us. That did not happen. Only brought menus from 1 restaurant in complex. Had to start late so people could go order food from other locations in the Urban Market. We had to stop in middle of meeting to go get refills from bartender who was situated around the hallway. All in all a 60 minute meeting ended up taking over 2 hours. Only apology came from a server.

Excellent foods and service. What a great place to relax and have a truly Italian meal. Staff of each area are wonderful, foods delicious and timely. Everything from fast Italian to fine dining and quick dessert. Love the Pizza!

Food was amazing (I'd rate it a 5), My issue was with the service. My order was taken and it took about 20 mins for my pizza to come out of the oven, I know this because I sat at the bar and watched the pizza maker since I came solo. My issue come when my pizza sat on the cooling tray for about 5 mins, along with two others that car after it out of the oven. A gentleman walked up and inquired about his order and his happened to be the two that came out after mine. My pizza was moved to the prep table with the pizza maker as two servers attempted to gather the gentleman's order. As my pizza sat, two individuals worked over it to gather sauce for the gentleman's order. I eventually got up and and inquired about my order, and found out the pizza they were shuffling around was mines. It seems that they were jumping orders to please customers who were upset about the wait. I also noticed that the servers would hop in the kitchen (cooked orders) to prep orders without gloves, bread sticks etc. the two servers I witnessed tonight had the long nails that are in now. Having had worked in food service, it's a no no to not wear gloves when dealing with prepped/cooked food. I also witnessed clothes tugging before grabbing to cut pizza again without gloves. The pizza maker was doing the best he could working alone, and he didn't rush any of the orders(he prepped with delicacy that I watched for over 30 minutes). He made an effort to keep his station clean despite the servers crowding it. I searched for a manager of the pizza station but was unsuccessful. A commonality I've seen at restaurants around Tallahassee ( being a visitor for a few weeks) is that a lot of restaurants are staffed by college students(understandably) but management doesn't stay on top of them when it comes to the front end.

WOW! JUST WOW! Easily one of my top 5 culinary experiences in Tallahassee. Urban food market is a little far from FSU campus but is very much worth the drive to visit. Urban foot market is food court concept with fast casual restaurant concepts serving quality Italian dishes. There is a meat station where they serve steak, porchetta, Italian burger, etc... You build your own pasta from scratch and build your own pizza just like blaze pizza (but with better quality ingredients here). They also have a gelato station for after your meal. Everything here is all very inexpensive. Wonderful place for a date night. I will be coming back again - Ansel Ponce Diana

First visit there, late afternoon on a Sunday. I had no idea what to expect and was surprised that the market wasn't actually a market but rather a group of different type places offering their goodies, plus what appeared to be a well-appointed fine dining area (which will need further checking out in the future). I settled on a spicy Italian sausage sandwich, served with grilled onions and sweet red peppers, which was excellent. It was a nice experience in a place that was very interesting and had several options of food which will deserve their own exploration later.

When i went it was raining pretty much all day. The roof was leaking so there were water buckets throughout the market. I visited +39 and the food was absolutely to die for. The service was absolutely amazing. If i could just rate this restaurant i would give it 5 stars. I will definitely be going here more.

I can't see how this is supposed to be a good food hall. There was nothing here but Italian stuff I did not want to eat. Nothing like other food halls where you have options. Guess this is why it was empty.

I am a huge lover of markets like this, kind of mimicking Eataly. I was so excited when I saw this, but I was a little underwhelmed when I got there. It has so much potential but just fell flat. They have so much open space and not enough to fill it so it felt so empty. I do love the different stations they had: pizza, sandwiches, gelato, pasta, etc. though. The whole place was kind of dark too so I wasn't even sure if each station was open at all. I ended up getting pizza which was very good and I would come back for it and maybe try some other things. I just think it has some work before it's up to its potential!
