I saw the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp! So next time I had a long time for a lunch break, I drove across town to try the place. Had to drive around the complex a bit to find the right building. At 1:00 on a Thursday, I was the only customer. It is an unassuming little place with six tables, one of which the proprietor uses for his office. This is a one-man operation. My order was taken quickly, but the food prep took a long time. I was glad I had nothing pressing to get back to. I got a Rueben sandwich and onion rings, the latter because of all the rave reviews. It was a small order of onion rings. What I liked was how thinly battered they were. I would have appreciated some seasoning in the batter, but it was pretty bland. The doneness was just right. That and the thin batter were the virtues. The smallness of the portion and the absence of seasoning were the faults. The Rueben was on just the right kind of light, seeded rye. It was light on sauerkraut, the way I like it. The cheese and dressing were in good proportion, but it has been many a decade since I've seen one with so thin a stack of corned beef. This was disappointing. If you're used to Tallahassee delis like Metropolitan or Jason's, this is just perhaps 25% or 30% of the meat you're used to. Maybe that's why I was alone in there.

As lunch goes this is a hidden gem. The two brothers that run the place are awesome and the food they make is fantastic. Might be the best Philly Cheese Steak in Tally.

Amazing food, spicy mayo is great; hot, fresh food, great prices, quick delivery. We had a short stack club and parmesan crusted grilled ham and cheese, and both meals were wonderful!!! Thank you!!!

Truly excellent food and the owners are very nice. Food is made to order, so consider calling in to order ahead of time if you're in a rush. Me and my gf had the Philly style chicken sandwich with fries, and a Cobb salad. Both were great. We'll be back for sure!

We were welcomed by some of the warmest greetings I can recall ever being served in a very very long time. The service was beyond good for the tiny Cafe. A few items were suggested. The food is simple but amazing.. The fries were perfect and hit the spot.. And ask for the spicy mayo! Don't let the looks fool you

My wife and I saw the excellent reviews and stopped in while travelling through Tallahassee. The 5 stars were well earned. We each got a club with fries, and everything was made fresh to order. The club was great and the spicy mayo on the side gave it just enough of a twist to be truly unique and even more delicious. My wife loved her food so much she ordered a Philly cheesesteak to bring home to New Orleans to eat tomorrow. We ate a wonderful meal and chatted with the owner about his kids (for whom the restaurant is named). He even stayed past closing time to continue talking to us. With three meals and two drinks the total was still under $25. We will definitely stop again when we come back to Tallahassee.

This place really goes that extra mile to make sure you are getting what you want! I'm on a special diet, its hard for me to eat out anywhere without feeling like a burden to the restaurant. This gentleman asked what I liked and requested I try something new. So I said what I could eat and was eager to see what he was creating.... Low and behold... MY VERY OWN specially made dish.. for me!! (he said when its not lunch rush its easier to create orders) Delish! amazing fresh food made to order.. fast... and the conversation was nice too! THANK YOU!!
