I saw the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp! So next time I had a long time for a lunch break, I drove across town to try the place. Had to drive around the complex a bit to find the right building. At 1:00 on a Thursday, I was the only customer. It is an unassuming little place with six tables, one of which the proprietor uses for his office. This is a one-man operation. My order was taken quickly, but the food prep took a long time. I was glad I had nothing pressing to get back to. I got a Rueben sandwich and onion rings, the latter because of all the rave reviews. It was a small order of onion rings. What I liked was how thinly battered they were. I would have appreciated some seasoning in the batter, but it was pretty bland. The doneness was just right. That and the thin batter were the virtues. The smallness of the portion and the absence of seasoning were the faults. The Rueben was on just the right kind of light, seeded rye. It was light on sauerkraut, the way I like it. The cheese and dressing were in good proportion, but it has been many a decade since I've seen one with so thin a stack of corned beef. This was disappointing. If you're used to Tallahassee delis like Metropolitan or Jason's, this is just perhaps 25% or 30% of the meat you're used to. Maybe that's why I was alone in there.

I came by two different days during business hours because of the awesome Yelp reviews. Both times it was closed with no hours listed and no one was in the area. I will not be returning for a third attempt.

Just okay, was drawn by all the very good 5 star reviews, but it was just okay? Very simple or basic menu. MIL had a cheese burger and I had a club sandwich which were made fresh and we both had with fries that were not very good. Sandwich was nothing special, sorry. Perhaps we ordered the wrong stuff, but I got the feeling that this was once a good little cafe that has seen better days?

my boyfriend and I came here cause I was out of town visiting and we were both really craving a philly cheesesteak--we're both from the philly/NY area and we can confidently say that this cheesesteak is definitely 5-star worthy. the guy working there was really nice too, thank you !

This is a great place to go for lunch! To start, the owner is a very nice, helpful guy. I called to place an order for lunch. The food wasn't quite ready when I arrived, but he made the wait enjoyable by being very friendly and talkative. Once the food was finished, he made me take a bite in front of him in order to assure it was to my liking. The club burger was very good! The burger was cooked to perfection and adding the lunch meat was a great detail. The fries had a small touch of old bay and were crispy, so good! After I told him I really liked it, he made sure to let me know that it was "his invention". He even gave me a menu and marked off all of his most purchased items! Overall I would highly suggest you check this place out. Great owner, great food, and all for a great price.
Came here for a late dinner on Sunday and ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries (the fries were included in the price). It was great and you can't beat the prices!

As lunch goes this is a hidden gem. The two brothers that run the place are awesome and the food they make is fantastic. Might be the best Philly Cheese Steak in Tally.

I wish this place were more convenient for me. The guys here are super nice and they take pride in their cafe and service. I have gotten their patty melt...it's the best in town.

Amazing food, spicy mayo is great; hot, fresh food, great prices, quick delivery. We had a short stack club and parmesan crusted grilled ham and cheese, and both meals were wonderful!!! Thank you!!!
