I have never written a review for a place, but man, I went here for my second time last night after not being able to quit thinking about how good it was the first and I was blown away even more. It's a bit pricey but totally fair for what you pay for. I only wish it was cheaper so I could come here all the time. Our server was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly! My favorite part is the sauce bar because I just put a few random things together and it's delicious. Volcano has to be one of my favorite restaurants in town, if not my favorite, from someone who has grown up here.

I had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. We went from the BBQ experience but were offered to try the hot pot, which was very good too. Service was quick. Too bad I only took one picture and it did not include the meat!!

First time here… hostess seated us very quickly. Our waiter Mathew, the brains behind this operation, is freaking amazing!!! He went over everything and answered all our questions with ease. Meat was deliciously marinated and seasoned, soup very hearty. We wobbled back to the car so full of a wonderful meal. This place overall is 12 out 10…I definitely recommend.. we’ll be back with the whole family….thanks again for the great service?

This place is the best all you can eat I ever been to. First off the food, they let you cook the food to however you like it and they have the best sauces ever. Secondly the service the service is the most helpful, caring, and funny people there. Third is the atmosphere, the atmosphere in that building is so warming, cozy, and quiet. I almost fell asleep in there.

Great place. Good prices. Awesome choice. They do hot pot and barbecue. The only drawback is the grills on the table are very small so if there are more than two people it gets a little crowded on the grill
I came back to volcano hotpot to give another shot and was not disappointed, the atmosphere was awesome being surrounded by Japanese paintings really kind of transports you back. The food was delicious and fresh I ate my fill of sea food and the experience really is one of a kind.Vegetarian options: They have different types of noodles and veggies my favorite is the taro and I believe cassava or pumpkin

A nice hot pot experience in Tallahassee. Each person gets their own personalized hot pot, but the BBQ grill is shared. My husband and I are not a fan of the BBQ here though, as the marinated meat tend to be too sweet for our tastes. However, the hot pot is a must, and it’s what we usually stick to whenever we come here.
