we went last week waitress dropped a drink that got all over me and my wife and our food and not as much as an apology they acted like it didn’t happen till my wife asked could we get our order remade or for the bill to be comped so we could just leave. Took 3 or 4 waitresses talking to each other to finally agree to comp the food so we could go! Worst service ever never going back.
I was a little skeptical about eating here at first only because of the location. However, I am SO glad that I did. The pancakes are phenomenal and the customer service is excellent. I was even offered a free slice of cheesecake at the end of my meal to which I accepted. The cheesecake is some of the best I’ve ever had with some really great flavors. Now, I go back specifically for the cheesecake and the customer service. Excellent food and portion sizes!

This review begins before I got to the restaurant. I'm making it a point to mention this because I feel this is what happens to a lot of people. Being a first time customer, I was using my GPS system to find Woodchuck's Cafe. As I got closer to restaurant, I said to myself "This doesn't look like an area where I would want to dine". Then when I got to the destination to see the restaurant was connected to a gas station, I said "No way", I pulled in the parking lot and made a you turn to leave.
Then I remembered, some of the best food comes from the most unlikely places. Boy was I ever right. I've been in Tallahassee for 2 years and I can honestly say, Woodchuck's Cafe has the best BURGERS hands down. They have a great selection of burgers. I personally went with the Dead Texan, fully loaded, with an over easy egg, and I kid you not, my first bite, I saw flashes of light, as if I was entering heaven. Combined with sweet potatoe tots, nothing can top it. A great shout out to the chefs, and a the 2 servers that were on point attending to needs without me having to ask for anything.
I'm looking forward to returning to try more entrees. It's like finding a great hidden treasure, where every time you go, you'll unwrap a awesome gift your taste buds will enjoy and your wallet will thank you.

I understand everything has gone up in price, but if your going to charge so much, at least make the ingredients good. I went with my boyfriend and his son. We got 2 kids meals because his son wanted more pancakes. I got the biscuits and gravy, the gravy tasted like it came from a packet mix or a can. I also got an extra order of bacon and cheese on my eggs and his sons eggs. My boyfriend got the breakfast bowl with home fries and there wasn't any in the bowl when he got it. For the $50 I spent the food was not up to par. The atmosphere and wait staff were great, but spending $50 on that isn't worth it.

Best breakfast in Tallahassee! Food was great and service was great. Prices are very reasonable! Tried the Woodchuck's special breakfast. Looking forward to coming back and trying lunch. If you're a local or traveling through Tallahassee, this is a must stop for brunch!

What an amazing experience I had ordering takeaway breakfast from here. The food arrived promptly and was still hot, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, making the meal even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning to this place for breakfast again in the future.

Great little casual place, an unexpected find in a gas station building
Tuna Melt on Texas Toast was excellent. The waitress was very attentive, understanding and personable. Made for a wonderful brunch experience despite the only available seating being outside.

I only heard about Woodchuck's recently, despite living in Tallahassee for the majority of my 60 years. My son and I went for lunch, and we were blown away. They have a great sandwich menu with lots of options. My son had the BLT and I had the Patty Melt, and we shared onion rings and french fries. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was just as you would hope it would be. We will return now that we know this small Tallahassee treasure exists.
