World of Beer Tallahassee

I visited here for my girlfriends birthday in hopes to have good service and good food. Firstly, it took 15 minutes for our waiter to arrive. A manager who has black hair and is slightly shorter walked by, so we called her over. She greeted us very rudely, and said I’ll be right back. She never came back. Finally almost 20 minutes later, the waiter shows up. He takes our order quickly and darts away, missing sides and sauces and not coming back until the food came out incorrectly. The manager once again dismissed us and cursed about us about 5 feet away from us. She spoke badly but we still stayed. All in all, a terrible experience and a manager who could’ve made it better made it much worse.

Terrible food. Terrible management.I had one of the worst customer service experiences at this world of beer location in Tallahassee. First off, I had to order for different drinks off of the menu before actually finding a drink that they had the ingredients for. The drink that I finally settled for was mediocre at best.Furthermore, I ordered a steak medium well that was prepared more than well. -_- At this point I was so sick of the disappointment that I just took what I was giving. The manager proceeded to come to our table and ask if everything was OK and after I explain to him my issue he simply said “oh I’m sorry” and nothing more.I’m not entirely sure why he even asked if we were OK because he did nothing to resolve our issue. After it was all said and done, I paid full price for over cooked food and a watered down drink. Never again.

The selection of beer here is awesome!!! If you like to enjoy a wide variety of styles of beer this place is a good choice. There looks to be about 30 or so taps and lots of additional options in cans and bottles. The food is good too.

Reasonably priced, great service, great food! The selection of beer is unlike anywhere else in town. I had the triple, truffle fries, wings, and the blueberry wheat ale which were all amazing! I’m not much of a drinker but I’ll definitely be back.

If i could leave zero stars i would. Never had such an awful experience in a restaurant. The wait staff was rude and slow. At the end of the night when bills were paid the waitress MADE A MISTAKE and brought another bill which I contested and she instead of listening brought out the manager who didn't introduce himself or ask what the issue was. Proceeded to demand payment for a bill that was already paid and then said he would just pick a card and charge it. The staff at this establishment is clearly prejudiced. Will not return until there a turnover in staff including management.

Never had a chance to eat. We sat for 45 minutes never got a beer, water or anything else and it took them 10 minutes to seat us. The place was absolutely dead and now I see why. The people next to us said it took them over an hour to get their food. They also said they would never

Sign says seat yourself. We sat outside. There was hardly anyone there. A server even held the door for us to go outside. Then we sat for 15 minutes before someone finally came with menus. Then they sent a different server, that didn’t seem like a usual server probable a manager. Ordered a beer, they came back ten min later to say they’re out of it. I got a coke. It came out and was flat so just drank my water. Our food was good but service was slow. Another couple here at same time as us left from not getting helped and then we timed another table that sat down and from sitting down to getting drinks was 20 minutes for them. When we finally got our check, we asked for to-go drinks and never got them. Wasn’t worth waiting for another 10/15 minutes so just left without. Disappointing bc the food is good.

Went to this location after a college graduation for dinner. Absolutely horrible service, cold and lackluster food, poorly managed facility

I had previously organized an event from out of town for a large group at a different location in Tallahassee and last minute was canceled on. I called Kyle at World of Beers in a panic and he took our group no problem! Kyle was very gracious and was a huge help. Our group had a great time and World of Beers was a great location for a happy hour for a large group!

I don't know. I think there's new management or something but last night's meal was awful. I never had it that bad. First, it took a long time for appetizer food to come out. Waiter was not informative about the wait. The truffle fries were super salty. I tasted my sister's shrimp and that was ridiculously salty. The flat bread was missing ingredients. The waiter apologized but didn't offer redos or remove the item off the bill. Then, I was told they got new people cooking. It was like someone blind seasoned the food.

Came in and the sign said seat yourself. The place was basically empty. Only a few people seated at tables. The staff said nothing just walking around or sitting down. I went with a couple people and we were confused. Several servers saw us, walked by us, and made eye contact with us. No one said a word. After about a full quarter of a football game a guy walks out the back and asked if we’ve been helped. Food and drink took quite a while to come out. The food was great. Drinks were great. We had to ask for our server to get more drinks because we never saw him again until we got our check. If you go here just sit at the bar. If I ever go back, that’s what I’ll do. The 2 stars are for the food and drinks only. Still tipped even though it wasn’t warranted.

Nice little spot and the service was really good. Got my food to me quick and it was nice and fresh. The steak on my sandwich was cooked perfect and the fries were hot and seasoned. I wish the onions were caramelized just a bit more, but I’m just picky when it comes to onions. All in all, come spend your money here if you’re looking for a nice vibe. ?

Great place for delicious cocktails and yummy eats. The Top Golf suite is fun for groups! Emma was an excellent server and was so very attentive! Hostess Rita greets you with a smile. I’ll definitely be back soon!!

Always have a wonderful experience here! Such hard workers doing the most, especially our server Billy. He was very attentive, never left a drink empty, and made sure we were satisfied for the duration of our meal. He is very polite and knowledgeable about drink recommendations and food. Next trip to the WOB, ask for Billy you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent beer selection and some of the smoothest hefeweisen I've drank to date. Great bar food and service. Will return.
