Entire place was dirty and you could tell it had been like that for a while. They took very long to take my order and were a bit passive aggressive. Food was decent, raising canes better though.

I placed a curbside pickup order at this location via app around 5:30pm this evening of 12/17/25 while I was at Publix beside Lake Ella picking up my online order. I then drove to zaxbys and parked in the designated parking spot for curbside orders and added my parking space #2. I waited in the parking spot for about ten minutes before I walked inside where I saw my order sitting in the pickup location. I looked around and there was a young female just standing behind the counter and a male walking an order out to the car that was pulled up in drive-thru. It defeats the purpose of ordering a CURBSIDE PICKUP order if I have to physically walk inside to retrieve my order. As I picked up my order both the male and female told me to have a nice day. I turned and looked at them and said “this is a CURBSIDE pickup” and proceeded to exit. There were no customers in the lobby so I’m confused as to why no one couldn’t bring my order out and instead sit it on the pickup shelf and the receipt clearly states “CURBSIDE.” I rarely stop at this particular location because there’s always an issue whether it’s burnt egg rolls, giving me the wrong drink or tasting food that has been cooked in old cooking oil. I typically don’t leave comments or reviews but I’m really irritated that I always have an issue at this location and ONLY this location.

The staff is incredibly kind, I love Zaxbys so they made it easy to want to come back to this location specifically. Kindness goes a long way and I appreciated it so much from 2 women specifically, I wish I caught their names.

Absolutely horrible service. Got order wrong, I waited over 30 minutes for them to correct it. When they didn't I ended up just getting a refund and taking my money to the other better managed zayby's to get the item.
I can’t say enough great things about this Zaxby’s! The staff here is absolutely amazing – so welcoming, kind, and genuinely caring. They made us feel right at home as out-of-towners, and I can only imagine they treat their locals just as well. The restaurant was spotless, very clean, and organized.
Our experience was outstanding from start to finish. The food came out hot, fresh, and truly exceptional. They even went above and beyond by giving us all the different sauces to try, which made the meal even more fun. Special shoutout to Mary and her team – they are truly first-class.
If you’re in Tallahassee, don’t miss out on this Zaxby’s. One of the best fast-casual dining experiences we’ve ever had!
