Acropolis Greek Taverna - Ybor City

We had great service and amazing food at Acropolis! They had a buy one get one free drink special on certain drinks, and we took advantage of that as well. While drinks weren't great they weren't bad. The margarita was better than the sangria. The appetizer sampler was delicious as was all of the food. The location is great, with street parking and a parking lot right behind the building. I highly recommend!

What an experience! Thankfully our server made many a recommendations for the best Mediterranean/Greek meal ever. She was friendly and offered sound advice on wine pairings.

Very good, authentic Greek cuisine in a festive, upbeat environment. Big negative was that our server tended to disappear for extended periods of time, resulting in diner needs (from drink refills to final check) being unreasonably delayed. Since we could see the entire restaurant from our table, "disappear" means literally gone.

Loved the food and dancing! The Athenian Fish was delish!

Haven't been back to Acropolis in a long time, but I thought I'd comment on a recent visit. The restaurant was clean, the service was attentive but not overbearing, and the food was excellent. Many compliments to the manager Christian and his staff. ~

Beautiful place with great food, only problem was the terrible service.
Waiter was nice but super slow and took forever to take our order and then take the food. Kept forgetting the orders. Definitely would come back but they sure need to make service better. I can not imagine how service is with a full capacity ?
