I had lunch with my daughter today. Food was excellent. We both had gyros she had the Greek fries which were out of this world. I had the tabouli which was perfect and we had hummus for an appetizer. Very creamy and delicious. Highly recommend this place. very clean inside very friendly staff Will definitely be back

It’s beyond delicious, my favorite restaurant in Tampa. Fabulous food, great service. Every time I visit family in Tampa we try to go to lunch or dinner here and completely stuff ourselves. We’ve had many amazing meals and I can highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms, spinach artichoke dip, falafel wrap, baba gaoush, Mousaka, hummus, spanikopita, honey cake. I believe the owner’s mother is the chef & she uses fresh, high quality ingredients. It’s a must- try!Vegetarian options: The baba ganoush and ALL veg appetizers are out of this world, and probably the best falafel wraps I’ve ever had.
Spent some time in Greece and since we got back, we've always been on a hunt for a Greek spot that feels similar to what we were eating over there. We jumped around multiple islands and weren't limited to touristy spots, so got a good feel of authentic Greek cuisine. Acropolis truly exceeded our expectations and wound up being honestly the closest thing we've had since our trip. Absolutely deserves 5 stars.

I spent time in Greece a few months ago and this is the most authentic Greek food I’ve had tried since being back in the US. We got saganaki, tzatziki, horiatiki salads, and baklava. All of which were phenomenal. Will absolutely make this a regular spot.
