Amaretto Italian Restaurant was such a wonderful surprise. We decided, last minute, to go out to dinner on a Thursday night to a place that was close to home. We had heard that this place was excellent and it truly was delicious. We were pleasantly greeted as we entered which is always nice. The servers were very attentive and kind. We choose entrees from the daily specials, my husband had the grouper, which was fresh and cooked perfectly. I had the crabmeat pasta served in a light garlicky, lemon sauce that was sooooo good. Our caesar salad was also crisp and dressed perfectly with shaved parmesan on top.
The meal ended delightfully with an affogato with hot steaming espresso. The prices were also amazing, no crazy price tag for this excellent meal!
The night was so wonderful, we highly recommend this neighborhood gem in West Tampa !!

We came at night just for dessert. We had cannoli , limoncello cake and a glass of sangria. The presentation of the plates were beautiful, and the desserts were delicious. Nice atmosphere.

Small quaint local Italian restaurant. Fresh and flavorful food. Prices a bit on the high end for portions and vibe. Location and atmosphere not on par with similar priced options nearby.
One of very few independent family owned restaurants in the area. Limited menu but food does not dissapoint.

Celebrated my birthday here last week with all of our local family. Really, really good food and service
Almost everyone chose a different entree and everyone loved theirs and the shared samples too. White Sangria was very good, salads were fresh and generous. Pasta dishes were all excellent and deserts were too.
Very good value with entrees in the $18- 20. range.

The food and service were outstanding. The lunch prices were reasonable but the atmosphere was a bit plain and lacked a warm personality.

Very average food. I got the lobster ravioli and it was very processed lobster. My husband got the sausage pasta and it was very salty

For my husband and me, this place is a hidden gem 💎 in the heart of Tampa.
Exceptional and friendly service, delicious Italian food, and a great selection of wines. Quiet, cozy, and always enjoyable—definitely our favorite spot to savor a special time together.
We had the chicken parm and grouper (which was on the daily special board)…both were quite delicious!

Food was AMAZING! Prices are very good. Had the Rigatoni Bolognese and it was the best I have ever had. Truly authentic food. I will go back if ever in the area again.

I felt nostalgic eating at Amaretto's. The food was definitely the star of the show. I was also impressed with the variety on their menu. I will have to go back to try some of their other dishes.
